My boyfriend and I had sex the day before I got my period. It was unprotected sex. I got my period the next day however, it only lasted four days instead of the normal five to seven. Should I take test? Or wait a mouth and see if I get my period.

I know unprotected sex is not smart. It's something I never am doing again. I am scared I might be pregnant. Advice would ease some nerves.

my daughter had stitches yesterday and and now she needs a follow up with a ped. where can i find one?

how does high temps outside and indoors affect babys overall health and temperment.
does a high indoor/outdoor temp make a baby more miserable, uncomfortable, and spit up more.

right now it is 95 outside and 79 in my apt even with all the windows open and two fans going.

what can i do beside the obvious of buying a ac or getting more fans.

will undressing him down to just a diaper help in anyway.

my son is 5 months old and right know is fighting a double ear infection and pink eye. so besides the fact of him having low grade fever i don't want him getting to warm.

At 8 his Father returned to his life (he had never been before)& after 2 yrs he was gone - I had him prosecuted for molesting our daughter (10). it's been 4 yrs since & he's not doing schoolwork - so he failed. Is beligerant & stubborn, lazy & refuses to shower, etc., etc., he's alienated all but 2 friends & no amount of counseling has helped - he fights it all the way. He flat out disrespects the "rules" I place and is starting to get physical with his younger brother(11). Sometimes I feel like taking a strap to the boys fanny - he's too big for me to handle & he's even grabbed my wrist when I have pointed at him. His father was abusive & I just cannot do that to my child - I got rid of him & we have had counseling, boot camps are unaffordable & I cannot get the police to do anything. I want to help my son - I am desperate! Can anyone tell me of groups I could find online or by phone that would HELP me - PLEASE!

If you have sex w/a condom and the guy finishes then you stop... 30 minutes later he puts it in w/out a condom for literally 2 MINUTES.... (doesn't finish) then pulls out and puts a condom back on after the 2 minutes... what are the chances of getting pregnant? My period is late but a negative test... 2 weeks late - but I have an irregular cycle ALWAYS so I'm just a little worried......

I had a baby on July 4th. She had some respiratory problems and is now in the NICU. I have been staying with her at the hospital in order to feed her, but I have recently been having problems expressing milk. My breasts are HUGE and full but when I try to pump little to nothing comes out.

I'm at home right now getting some rest. My blood pressure went through the roof last night, so the Dr has me on bed rest. Maybe the stress of the past week is not letting me "let down." IDK. My husband and I are just worried that I will stop producing milk if this keeps going the way it's going.

Oh, I also have a hospital-grade pump at home and that isn't even working! Please help!

My daughter is six-months-old and i've just found out i'm 7-weeks pregnant, i really would be sad to stop breastfeeding my daughter early because of the new baby my eldest two children breastfed for 19-months and the second for 20-months and i'd feel guilty to breast feed my daughter for less time as it would seem i have given my eldest two children a better start in life than my youngest!

what should i do? i'm not sure about this tandum feeding where i feed my newborn and my daughter too, has anyone done this sucessfully? if so, how much did each take and will my newborn get the right amount of milk if my daughter is also feeding?

would be very greatful for anyone who has done this to give me some advice and tips? or would you suggest i wean my daughter off the breast before my new baby arrives?

My four year old is potty trained and has been for two years, she recently started wetting the bed. The only changes in the house is another baby. She is the second oldest out of four kids and is used to babies being around so I don't think that is the problem. I have limited her fluid intake in the evening and also get her up before I go to bed and take her to the bathroom.

Here recently (the last week or so) my 27 month old has shown a BIG intrest in the potty.

He comes to me to take his diaper off, and tells me that he's pooped (even if it's just pee, he says he pooped)..and we've been letting him run around naked, during the day, in hopes that he will use the potty chair on his own, well, instead of using the potty chair, he will bring me a diaper and lay down...So he's showing signs of being ready, and he even brings his potty chair to me and says "Pee pee" but once he's siting on it, he won't go, 2 min. later, after he's in a diaper, it's wet, and he's asking to have it taken off.

how can i get him to start using the potty chair?

This problems started when he was wetting the bed, and also wetting his pants when he was watching TV, playing video games, or playing something else. I was tired of washing so much cloth and sheets, that I bought some of those new size 7 baby diapers and made him wear them to bed, and sometimes at home. But now it's got to a point where he just doesn't care, he just goes in the diaper, he doesn't care if I change him, and he doesn't care about wearing it all day.. outside too, it's like he's a baby again
Did I do something wrong? what can I do to get him out of the diapers!?

A parent that has their lil children or babies vaccinated says that they dont want any un-vaccinated children or babies around them because they are like a threat to them, health wise. But isnt that child suppose to be protected from illnesses with those vaccines?

Shouldn't the parent with the un-vaccinated child be the one concerned about them being around a vaccinated child since they are injected with the virus??


This is really confusing to me.... I hear and read this all the time..
Whats up with that?

my last two periods have been very light and only lasted 3 days thats unusual because i always last the week!! and on the first month i was a week late and cramped really bad but this last time it was on time but super light no hardly no cramping. Could i be pregnant?

My 22 month old doesn't seem to be showing any signs of readiness.

I heard that they have to be able to say/signal to you when they are about to go that is when it is time.

I do not want her to go in the potty, I have a small padded seat which fits over the toilet, I do not see the point in teaching the potty, then doing it again weaning off potty to toilet, or is that a mistake?

She watches when I go, I tell her toilet is for wee wee and when I change her pampers I take it to the toilet and drop it in and flush and tell her pooh pooh goes here.

She just doesn't seem to be getting it though. If i sit her down she cries.

I even started sitting in the bathroom reading a book to her so she gets used to being in there, but don't know if this would confuse the toilet message.

Any ideas, I don't want her to be 3 years old still in pampers.

My relatives are no help, they had their kids trained at 12months, and tell me I should just know when I'm her mother, no help.

Hi. In about a month, my husband and I are driving to the beach with our baby girl, who by then will be 6,5 months old. I'm taking her to her monthly appt before we leave and I will ask the Dr then. I just wanna hear experiences, tips and advice from mommies who have gone to the beach with babies. This is our 1st long trip (10-11 hrs), we are very excited about it.
