Pregnancy & Parenting - 9 July 2007

God I am full of questions as I research things I find myself asking more questions hehe. Well I am pregnant. We make 2 grand a month take home (after taxes). I do not work I am a stay at home housewife. Also, in the process of appeal for disability (ssdi & ssi) and have been for almost a year now. I have researched keeping cost down and still getting everything I need for the new baby. I am getting a little scared I might not be able to afford everything, medical, supplies, furniture. I still got a long ways to go with my pregnancy and as I said I rsearched what is best for newborn baby to grow with and saves money at the same time. But I am still a bit nervous. We want to move before baby is born but not sure how we will be able to save with regular bills necessities and rent. As well as buying baby stuff. Anyone have any advice or ideas.

Me and My Husband like the names Gavin and Anthony but have NO idea what good middle names would go with it. Oh and NO Not GAVIN ANTHONY or ANTHONY GAVIN. Im 27 weeks and I really would like to figure out a middle name soon. Its taken me FOREVER to get him to decide on a name. Oh my 1st son is named Bradley Ryan. So cant be that.

My baby girl is 4 months, she`ll be 5 months this month. She is droolllliinngg so much!!! And she always always has her hands/fists/fingers in her mouth!! and when i put my finger in her mouth, back to the back of her mouth she bites down, and she bites hard..but when i try to look for teeth coming through, she wont let me look at all. She`ll close her mouth on me or move so much that i just give up, think she is teething? and if she is what can i do for her? Im a first time mommy!

i have just got done with a custody battle for my 5 year old daughter. she was with her father for a year who was very predjudice toward black people. now shes back home and happy but my fiancee is black and she keeps saying that white goes with white and black goes with black. what is the best way to show her the diversities of life especially since she'll be starting school this year? with out being to harsh or invasive.

3 little heart beats, im having triplets, I truly believe Sienna Grace is looking down and each of these babies are blessed. This needs some background, so here goes. My husband and I have pretty much settled on the name Cameron for our little girl (Please no negative comments. I know it may not be your style.) During my endless search for the perfect baby name I have become somewhat disgusted with the "tryndy" style of mispelling baby names using y's or extra letters (Madissyn or McKynna, for example.) However, my name is Kyle and I have spent the last 32 years of my life being mistaken for a man. I even got put into boy's P.E. three years in a row. I bet I would have like being Kyelle back then. So I'm torn. Do I go with the more classic Cameron, which I like better? Or do I give her the more feminine spelling of Camryn despite my distaste for this type of "unique" name wrangling? What would be better for her in the long run? Thank you for your advice.

My son will eat most things but will sometimes leave some of the vegetables he doesn't like. My husband will force him to eat these and often this will result in a battle of wills and a generally miserable time by all. I think my son should be able to refuse food he doesn't want as long as he has made a good effort with the rest of the dinner. What do you think?

We're having a little boy, due November 7, and we're really excited, but can't seem to agree on a name.

I like the name Caden, but I am afraid it's too trendy right now, and I don't like names that have tons alternate spellings (e.g. Caiden, Cayden, Kayden, Kaeden, Kaden, etc.). I always want to use the traditonal spelling of a name.

I like the name Mason, but my hubby doesn't care for it. He like the name Calvin, but I think the inevidible nickname "Cal" makes for a mouthful of C's when you say it with our last name (Cal Capner)

We'd love your opinions and ideas for other names that sound good our with name.

TIPS about our naming style: We're NOT set on having his name start with a "C" or a "K"--in fact I'm not sure I like the alliteration of using them together, though it works with some names (e.g. Caden, Carson). We like some classic names (Henry, Oliver, Jack, Josh, none of which we can use b/c of family ties), and we like more modern choices too (Mason, Caden).

The first name has already been chosen (Zarine), but we would love a middle name to go with it. Anything that would sound nice is acceptable, but it would be cool if the first and middle names translated into something nice. Zarine means golden, so anything that can be golden would be ideal. She was swearing and I told her to go to her room. (The swearing comes from her Father - have tried to stop him with no avail) well anyways she refused. I then grabed her wrist and dragged her to her room. Sat her on her bed and told her that when she has some time out and tidies her room I will let her out. Instead of complying she ran to the door afterwards and I held it close - she kicked it and kicked it and banged on it with anything she get her hands on. I thought the door was going to break so I openned it - she tried to get out and I grabbed her and she then started beating me - kicking me - pulling my hair out. This went on for sooooo long, I just reacted - didn't mean to but I slapped her not hard on the cheek. She stopped hitting into me long enough for me to restrain her on the floor, till she calmed down. I appoligised for slapping her face and told her she can come out later when she has done her room. I have a very bad bruised hand and face. Why is she doing this?

Ok, this is what happend. June 25th 2007, I was ovulating. I knew this because I had the whole discharge thing going on and I can feel when I ovulate. My husband and I went on a trip to missouri and I was ovulating on that sunday, the monday after and the sat, and friday before we did it. Then when I was supposed to start on the 4th of July. Well I didn't. I then had more discharge, a little sore nipples, and I was very nauses and my lower back is sore. I still havent started and today is the 9th of July allmost the 10th (Can you tell I'm really counting the day's) I have had two kids allready and had a miscaraige in Jan. So I know what pregnancy feels like. I am just worried that I keep getting a negative result that this pregnancy wont be viable and I will have another miscaraige. I do feel pregnant. PLEASE HELP!!! I feel like these days are going so slow.
