If it's for a girl then definately Brielle. Mattea is a boys name in italian or greek.

Brielle. Mattea makes me think of Mattel, the maker of Barbie.

Definitely Mattea, because it's unusual but still has a traditional biblical sound to it. Brielle is pretty but sounds as if it's short for GAbrielle. =)

I don't like either of them. But if I had to choose one, it'd be Mattea. (But she'd have to explain to everyone that her name is not Mattie, but Muh-TAY-uh.)

I like Brielle better. It's more feminine.
