OUUUCH!!! sooner than later. Best to have it done a day or two after birth.
Sorry but I must. Jamie M stated:
"They foreskin staying on does keep the sexual sensations higher, and they say they wouldn't give that up for anything."
Excuse me, but how the heck would they know??? What exactly did you expect "all those" uncircumcised men to say, I wish I had it done, or it gets in the way, or it gets infected under there? I mean really!!!
From an at birth circumcised man, Mom do your baby a favor and get rid of that skin hanging there. They do it for a reason. Its up to the parent to make a lifelong decision for the child, and after two sons being circumcised at birth, I know we did the rite thing for them, and YOU will be glad you did too.

NO!!!
If you really want to show that you care for and love your son you will not have him circumcised.
There is no 'just' reason to circumcise your son just because you don't want to have to take an extra 15 seconds and clean it properly. And make sure he knows the importance of keeping it clean when he's old enough to shower by himself.
Someone said that this is a decision the parents have to make for their children that will affect them the rest of their life.
If you don't circumcise them but they wish you did, it's easier for them to get it done later on, it may hurt...but hey it hurts when they're a baby too......but if you do circumcise them and it turns out they wish they did have their penis intact it's too bad for them they can do the reconstructing(I'm doing it) method, or even skin graphing to get the look back. But that's all that you get back is the look not the sensation. Circumcised men will not know what it is like to have an orgasm to their true potential. The intact foreskin is much more sensitive due to the nerve ends that are there plus the foreskin also covers the glans of the penis keeping it moist and sensitive.
It is best to leave it as your sons choice, it's more effective to take it off then it is to try to put it back on.
DO YOUR DUTY AS YOUR PARENTS AND PROTECT HIM FROM ANY TYPE OF "UNNECESSARY HARM" WHENEVER POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PEOPLE COMPLAIN THAT ABORTION IS WRONG BECAUSE THE FETUS IS A LIVING THING AND SHOULD THEREFORE HAVE RIGHTS, THEREFORE A NEWBORN BABY BOY SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO NOT WORRY ABOUT HAVING HIS FORESKIN TAKEN AWAY FROM HIM SO THAT HE MAY NEVER EXPERIENCE THE TRULY WONDERFUL EXTENT OF AN ORGASM!!!!!!!!!!!
DON'T BE LAZY CARE ABOUT YOUR SON'S HEALTH BY KEEPING HIM CLEAN NOT MUTILATING HIM!!!
CIRCUMCISION IS NOT NECESSARY IT IS JUST FOR LAZY PARENTS WHO DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO SPEND THE EXTRA 15 SECOND TO WASH IT PROPERLY!!!
also Tony stated:
"Excuse me, but how the heck would they know??? What exactly did you expect "all those" uncircumcised men to say, I wish I had it done, or it gets in the way, or it gets infected under there? I mean really!!!"
Yeah that's a pretty good argument there. If you were to hear from intact men saying that they wish they were circumcised because of those symptoms, or if they were to say "yeah I wish I was circumcised because it's a pain in the butt to keep clean". then it would be different but it's not difficult to keep clean so what's the point of getting rid of it if it's not difficult to get clean.
My friend is in tact and he says it takes him 15 seconds to pull the skin back and rinse with the shower water. It's not like you have to do something extraordinary to keep it clean. It's not difficult.
It's not like you have to let it soak in lukewarm water for ten minutes every day before you go to bed.
One last point to ponder about.....
GOD GAVE MEN FORESKIN FOR A REASON, IT'S NOT SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF!!!

I personally do not believe in plastic surgery for baby boys, but I think it would depend on what grounds? Medical? Not well supported. Religious? Only if you are Jewish, and then some are forgoing the actual cutting and just having a dedication ceremony. Circumcision is dangerous (I have personally seen two botched circumcisions), unnecessary, results in decreased sexual sensation for a man and isn't covered by some insurances or practiced in many countries outside of the U.S. Would you circumcise your female child? I hope not. To not appear so biased and one sided, I will say that recently I did read that circumcision does add some protection against HIV infection, but codoms provide better protection. check out www.circ.org

I have asked all my guy friends the same question, and they highly recommend I don't have it done to my baby. I was thinking of doing it in terms of cleanliness more than anything, but they say all you have to do is learn how to clean under the foreskin properly, and show your son how to do it. They foreskin staying on does keep the sexual sensations higher, and they say they wouldn't give that up for anything. They say I should let him make the choice himself, although yes it would be painful later in life. I've decided to refrain from circumsizing my baby because of their strong opinions.

Generally no. Not for a boy, and definitely not for a girl.
In a modern country, the health reasons for circumcising boys no longer applies, and it can reduce sexual sensitivity if its done. There are very few medical conditions which might require one a a later date, and some say its better to have it done earlier just in case, but would you remove other body parts because there might be something go wrong later on?
For a girl, it amounts to mutilation, as it requires the removal of her clitoris and labia, in order to prevent her having sexual pleasure. The ultimate cruelty.

No , there is no medical indications to do so these days. It's just your way of torturing your baby son. Don't do it.

No. Circumcising a male can cause serious damage to the tip of the penis resulting in lower sexual pleasure later in life through loss of sensitivity .. There are many men who use foreskin reconstruction gadgets to get it back later in life..
The penis is sheathed in the foreskin to keep it protected and moist and is there for a reason.
Just keep in mind that you are not giving your son a choice..
Good luck..

That's a decision you and only you (and your spouse/partner) should make.
There are pros and cons to both, and I suggest doing some research and talking with your doctor (and other doctors) and making an informed decision, not asking random people online.

Because it is solely cosmetic, I did not have my son circumcised. Because its cosmetic I decided he should make his own decision, its his body.
