Your doctor should have told you when to come back. Even if your water doesn't break. Active labor is when you are 3 cm or more dilated, your contraction are less then 5 minutes apart and are lasting 45-60 seconds. If you are like that now I would be on my way to the hospital. If your contractions aren't lasting that long get up and start walking, or even take a shower. You will probably be back in the hospital tonight!
Good luck

You could go into active labor very soon. Not all women have their water break on their own the dr may have to do that for you. Time your contractions. i was told by my dr when they get to 3-5 min. apart then get to the hospital. That also depends on how far away you live from the hospital too. if your contractions are 10 min. apart and you live an hour away then start going. Just walk if you can have someone with you and you could go into labor tonight early tomorrow morning. good luck and congrats.

If your contractions are 4 minutes apart and your having bloody show in ur discharge you should probably be at the hospital... That is usually a sign of labor.. Don't wait for your water to break.. Some women's water doesn't break untill they are almost half way through labor or further(most doctors will break the water if it hasn't by then)..

Sounds like it's coming soon to me. Be prepared...I went from light pink discharge and a few "not too bad" contractions every 20 minutes to delivery in about an hour (I have no idea how dialated I was when it started, but I was fully dialated when I got to the emergency room!). Could still be a few days but you're almost there honey! You go mom!

Yes. The lite/pink brownish discharge is your mucus plug. If your contractions are less than five minutes apart OR your water has broken, go to the hospital immediately.

Congratulations and good luck.

Yes, you'll have your daughter soon. Some women do not have their water break spontaneously, so if your contractions are coming regularly at short intervals, don't wait for your water to break to go to the hospital---it may not happen. I'd say you're almost there! Congratulations.

oh my goodness girl, you could go into an active labor in as early as 24 hours!!!! I wouldn't count on it that soon, but it happened to me!! how exciting!! (my water never broke, they broke it for me... my contractions were so close together i barely could catch my breath in between when I got to the hospital) congrats sweetie!!
