As a parent and a caregiver kids are just awesome, but what is that one thing that always puts a smile or your face that your child does? Mine is when my son reaches for my face and rubs it when he getting sleepy and ready for bed.

I have two children at very different stages so it is something different with each of them.

My daughter is 16 and the best thing that she does is always insists that she kiss me on the cheek every time I leave the house. It sounds like nothing but when she leaves I am lucky to get a wave but if I dare to leave I get a kiss and that feels wonderful.

My son is 2 3/4 and he climbs on my lap, puts his hand on my cheek and says, "How are you?" I say fine how are you and he says, "OK or good". It is the sweetest thing ever.

My "kids" are 21, 19, and 13... I actually sat in the livingroom and cried the other night, listening to them laugh belly-laughs in the family room... They were looking at the scrapbooks I made them for Christmas several years ago... and remembering when they were younger... My son was home on leave and my older daughter had the night off... and instead of either of them going out with friends, they stayed home and spent some awesome time together...

I also laughed when they started the burping contest... Just like old times, eh?

I have many! Guess I am blessed. One of the more recent things my 2 year old son has started doing is when my husband gets home from work: He gets down on his hands and knees and barks like a dog until his dad gets in the door. I love it his imagination brings a smile every time!

I have lots of them! When my toddler tells me she loves me, when she comes over & lays her head on my lap & grabs my arm & puts it around her, When she gives me eskimo kisses, when she walks over & gives me hugs & kisses with a big , when she does her little evil sounding "hehe" laugh when she learns to say something new, looking at the excitment on her face everytime she discovers something new, the list goes on & on.
