Pregnancy & Parenting - 10 July 2007

When i found yahoo answers i was like wow maybe i can get some great parenting advice from other parents. I have found that everytime i ask a question and i am really seeking advice or opinions. I get bombarded with YOU ARE whats wrong and you need to be a better mom. and its YOUR fault . I realize no matter where you chat online you are going to run into so childish people but what bothers me is how old some of these people are that are judging me. Being a young mother the last thing i want to hear is how bad of a mother i am and what a lousy job im doing. Maybe this is what causes young parents to just give up all this criticism instead of just the occasional booster or hint of advice I want to know what gives you ( these horrible people) the right to be so hateful and mean?

i mean i have kids but how long after intercourse does it take the sperm to get to the egg because if i did this 2 weeks before my period i couldn't get pregnant right?

I am so confused by what my body is doing!!!

June 9-14 Period
June 19-26 I had light bleeding during the time I ovulated
June 22- signs of ovulation, breasts were very sore, and cramping in my ovary area.
June 30- Yellow CM with a tinge of blood in it when wiping.
July 1st and 2nd- really light pink spotting
July 4-7th- lots of clear CM with streaks of blood in it
July 8-10th- Light red spotting when wiping. Some on a panty liner.

But during all this, Ive had really sore breasts, headaches, nausus feelings, Ive checked my cervix this morning and it was still high and soft feeling. I was suppose to get my period around the 7th of July and at that time I was spotting with lots of clear CM.

then this morning, I take an equate (wal-mart) test and it comes back negative. Im scheduled for a beta on friday at 1030 am. and then also they want to do an ultrasound on July 24th to check if everything is ok.

Even with the negative tests, could i still be pregnant?

my 19 month old to quit being sooo bad? He is a bully. He pinches, bites, and pulls hair. No one tells him to do it. He starts out friendly. Like for instance, he'll start by hugging and kissing you and when you least expect it he'll pull your hair. I dont know how to stop him. I tell him No firmly, and so does my husband. But it doesnt work. My 5 year old doesnt like playing with little brother because of the way he is. What should I do?

My husband and I have done our research and decided not to circumcise our son. The problem is with his family. His Mother is not even talking to me right now because she thinks it was all my decision and that I am setting my son up for a lifetime of heartache by not getting his foreskin chopped off. Why do family members think that it is any of their business anyway? Anyone else encountering this problem?

He's a shy kid who loves video games and doesn't really have a lot of friends...if any. This year he wants a real birthday party. Last year we just took him & another kid to Knott's. I just found out I am pregnant. Last time I had a great pregnancy but a rough birth and needed an emergency c-section. The baby was face up instead of down and had a big head so he never dropped! Do you think I should look for a doctor willing to do a natural birth with me? My current ob-gyn wants me to schedule a repeat c-section.

We just got a new place and it is already ruined. My daughter is out of control. No matter what I keep up high or lock up she still finds a way to get into everything. She spills everything. She screams and yells and throws fits. She hits and kicks. She refuses to stay in the kitchen with her cups and food so my carpet is ruined. She stays up until 2 in the morning (even when she doesnt take naps) and she wakes up early. She will not sleep in her own room. The neighbors think I beat her because she is always throwing fits and yelling. And she is always hurting herself so she gets bruises. I CANNOT TAKE IT ANYMORE! And I am about to lose my job because no one will watch her because she is so out of control. And I cannot afford daycare or anything like that. And I could put her in time out and spank her *** all day long and she doesnt care. It doesnt phase her. I NEED HELP!!

I currently have 2 children. With both of them I was unable to breast feed as I didnt produce enough milk. I drank and drank so much liquid so I could produce something but it never happened. Do you know if there is something that I can do to produce milk?

Today I was so shocked when my 7 yr. old pushed his 6 month old baby brother over while in his Jumperoo..I was cleaning dishes and I heard the baby scream and when I ran over the jumperoo was on top of him. I asked my 7 yr. old why he did that and he said the baby hurt his finger..I am so upset that he would do such a thing because I have had this talk a dozen times with him that when the baby pulls your hair or anything he doesn't mean to hurt you put I felt it was a little extreme the way he tossed him over like that..

get a really late period (but still got it after all) only it wasnt heavy or normal liek a period.? and found out u were pregnant? if so how many weeks were u when u found out after having that abnormal period? im asking this bcuz i had sex when i was Oing and then was 3 and ahlf weeks late on my period but unfortunatly got it only its differet and very very very light ..normally im heavy and hav alot of clotting only this time i have none! theres no cramps either...but i dnt kno if i culd still be preg. i shud mention i am very regualar as well so this is odd for me!! please share ur experience with me

my baby is 2 months old and she sems like she hungary all the time. my doc says not to start her on rice or oatmesaal untill she 4-6 mon i remember i started my 1 st daughter on it at 2 mon but that was 6 yrs ago.... i feel like ive los my touch . should i give her the cerial or wait?
