It depends, if it were a stranger with my 2 1/2 year old, no way. Maybe if she was like 7-8 ok. If I knew them very well or were a part of my family and it was a short time then yes. There are just so many horror stories out there that it makes it hard to trust any babysitter, even an adult one.

Yes, I've babysat plenty of times before, and I'm 14. I don't see why not if they're mature and responsible young adults. Many parents even trust 12 year olds to babysit their kids for them.

I'm 14 and I take that as an insult because I'm responsible, get good grades, great with kids, I'm going to work in child care when I get older, and I baby-sit all the time, I even baby-sit babies that aren't even 1 yet!!!!!

so which you have taken a secure Sitter direction, so which you're qualified in toddler/new child CPR and easy first aide, awesome? additionally you would be around the corner on your very own residence. I see no subject - what i could propose is to make up a "resume" for the hot pals and placed on it - the secure Sitter direction (and a descripton of the guidance and certifications), your GPA (no rely if this is a B or A) alongside with your greater suitable curicular events. additionally ask for the mothers and dads of a few of your regulars for References. What which you ought to to do is furnish to be a "mom's helper" for some days/evenings to get to be attentive to the child and the exercises then babysit solo. i in my opinion see no subject - i became babysitting solo whilst i became 10 and did so until I had my own infants. sturdy success

I will be 13 in a month and I babysit every day. It really depends on how mature and responsible and how good they are with kids. I babysat one family and from word of mouth now babysit for over 5 families.

Yes, I babysat at 14 and am still. Whats wrong with it? You can mess up just as big as a person babysitting whose like 30.

Yeah...I was babysitting by that age, and I pretty much trust a teen with my child, over the age of say....18 months. No newborns but I wouldn't leave a newborn with anyone but my husband.
