I still got about 10 days to my period but my cat usually doesn't want to cuddle with me very much and today she is all over me cuddling and usually runs away. If I am pregnant can she tell?

i know and heard of dogs sensing when something is wrong with its owner or if it rain etc. but it might be true bc if ur hurting the animal will sense it and want to be around you to love on you.

There is an old saying that if a cat comes around then you are pregnant. When I first got pregnant the cats came around but I didnt know if I was pregnant or not. But come to find out I was pregnant and those cats stayed around so I guess the old saying is true.

The last three times I was pregnant, our labby started laying at the foot of the bed on my side long before we saw those two pinks lines. We call it the "lab test"! Generally, she and I tolerate each other. When I'm pregnant, she stick by me almost as much as she does with my husband. I don't know what it is, but she knows when I'm pregnant, we're sure of it.

I think they can because my cat is very scitso and she started following me around the house ALL the time. Sooooo annoying. and she'd always jump on the bed and want to sleep with us but my husband don't like pets in the bed so we'd boot her off the bed but she wouldn't give up. I later on found out I was pregnant I'm 11 weeks now. So you very well could be. GOOD LUCK

yes
over in egypt people own cats to keep bad spirits away and to tell if somethings bad
they always sense a fair bit about the human body and become more protective/loving during pregnancy
my cat is exactly like yours, but follows me everywhere now....

even other animals become more friendly.. you will notice this more often if you are pregnant/ further on down the track, its believed that animals can hear the heart beat!!!

My cat did...both times. He only sleeps with my husband- but when I became pregnant- he slept with me. He'd also follow me to the bathroom after I knew I was pregnant each time I had to go- which was often.

Animals are very intitutive and pick up on these things.

I don't know if cats know what "pregnant" is, but they are certainly capable of knowing that our body scents have changed. Whether that means illness, pregnancy, or just a bad day at the office, the cat probably doesn't know, but it's nice when they respond to your moods a bit :-)

I never even thought of that! I wouldn't doubt it though...
Maybe that's the reason why one of my cats follows me to the bathroom every time and not my husband? The cats talk to me all the time and want me to hold them all the time but aren't like that to my husband!!!

LOL

maybe that's why!!

well the other night i had hugged my mom and the scent of blood overwhelmed me. I asked her if she had her period and she said no. I also asked her if she was expecting it and she said no. Then in the morning, while taking a shower, she actually got her period!! Maybe your cat just gets a scent from you that just scares it off..(no i am not saying that you smell for those people that one to critisize)

Some studies have shown that animals are sensitive to the hormones we have, and that includes pregnancy hormones.
