I know this is not a nice question but after having your baby, how long did you bleed for? I’m not pregnant but may be planning to try. I know I could ask my doctor things like this but I rather ask for first hand experiences first!

first baby 4wks( thought it would never stop!)
second baby 1wk ( I breastfed him and belive this helped with the bleeding)
Everyone is differant ! You may only have mild bleeding afterwards are you may have more execive bleeding . Dont worry about it babe when you have that beutiful bundle of joy you will know it is so worth it !!!!!

I bled for 5 weeks. I honestly had no clue about this part of having a baby until after I gave birth! Its not like a period with cramps and all that. Stock up on heavy duty pads! :)

Well for some people it is only for 2 weeks and for others it is more. For me it was 6 weeks. Also there would be days that the bleeding would stop and it will continue again after 3 4 days. I got extremely sick as well after my delievery. 6 weeks is not normal.

I bled for about 5/6 weeks and then my body went crazy and clotted for about 4 hours, and the bleeding stopped.... if you exclusively breastfeed, you really won't bleed as a period for a while... but that's my experience :)

with my first only for like 2 weeks maybe less with my second it was more like 2 actually bleeding and then 2 with barely anything like i had to wear a panty liner just incase bc i would stop for a bit and then out of nowhere a little more would come

With each of my kids it was different. 6 weeks was the longest and 3 1/2 weeks was the shortest.

With my first I bled for 7 weeks (anemic though), with my second it was 5 weeks and with my third it was 3 weeks (then my period started the following week).

I bled for 6 weeks with my first; 3weeks with my 2nd; 5 weeks with my 3rd, and didn't stop with my 4th until I had a hysterectomy.

i have 2 babies, both c-section.
i bled heavy first week (like a freak show)
then it lightened up for about a week
the third week was only spotty, almost not enough to wear anything for. (like you think its done, then
ruin panties)
i figure it's payback for no period for 8-9 months.
it wasn't real crampy, since c-section i guess
oh ya, i breast fed both and didn't get another period for like three months
