Morning sickness is caused by the pregnancy hormone hcG (human chorionic gondotrophin) which is very high in the first trimester of pregnancy, and unfortunatley it cant be avoided im afraid!
however ginger products like ginger biscuits, ginger beer etc are known to help ease the queeze!!
I found that if i kept a ginger biscuit by the side of my bed and ate it when i woke in the morning before getting out of bed it would definatley help!
hope this has helped you!
Good luck

Try sucking on a lemon. Eat 5 or 6 smaller meals rather than 3 large ones, avoid an empty stomach. Ginger and ginger ale is good too.

I got really bad morning sickness with both of my pregnancies. My first was the worst and I think the prenatal vitamins that I was on was making the morning sickness worse than what it could have been because with my second I started taking the prescribed prenatal vitamins and I hated the taste of them so I went and got store bought ones and they seemed to make me less sick for some reason.

You can take a dry cracker first thing in the morning and keep some handy at your bedside table. Here in South Africa we get medication called Vomifene and it really helps I've heard. So have a look if you can get your hands on these at your pharmacy/drugstore. But other than that, nothing you can really do about it. Sorry.

It's caused by the hormonal changes. The Dr can advise you on the best ways to avoid / deal with it.

it all depends on the woman as its the levels of hcg that causes morning sickness if your going to get it there isnt really anything you can do about it it should ease at around 14 weeks as this is when your levels peak i would just advise that you dont eat anything to greasy this can make it worse

Think its the early hormone changes that cause it ..some ladies will get it some are lucky and don't, when i was having my twins it was terrible then faded off, try drinking ginger beer or sweet tea with ginger or plain biscuits x

Think it's a hormonal responce thing that triggers it but don't quote me on that!
Nope it's one of those things, I suffered badly with my daughter from nausea, no actual sickness but between waking up and lunch time I felt green. Howvever I never suffered at all with my son.

hormones in crazy state
not really
I actually avoided it by drinking approved protein shakes and eating raw nuts. It was rough, yet I was only SICK a couple of times. I wore "seabands" and did accupunture to relieve all symptoms and it worked.

it is not actually your hormones causing it, it is the baby's hormones that make it grow and react with your system. something different is happening in your body and its trying to figure out how to deal with it. dont worry, it goes away after a bit!
