Wasn't this on "Mind of Mencia" just a while ago? I say sure...we should respect other cultures. I believe this is a Muslim name. Who knows....some of our common names might translate into something offensive in another language.

In Muslim culture, that is an actual name and it is pronounced "shith-eed".
