Try visiting the manufactures website of the type you would like to try. Often times they have rebates or coupons available.
Also, ask your doctor. They often get samples from pharmaceutical company representatives.
You will need a prescription from your doctor for birth control. This is to make sure that you do not have any existing conditions or drug interactions that could be harmful while on the pill.

If you go to your ob/gyn for an appointment they may give you some samples along with a prescription for more. One pill isn't going to do anything, you have to take it for a month before it is effective (some a week) and continue taking it after that, if you stop it is no longer effective. You should go to the ob/gyn because they will give you an exam if you haven't had one in the last year and will check your blood pressure which is necessary because birthcontrol can cause high blood pressure.
If you are already on the pill then call your ob/gyn, they might have some samples of what you are on that they can give you. They may also be able to give you information on discount programs or prescribe you a generic version which would be cheaper.

BC pills aren't given away as "freebies" they are actually medication that should be given by a licensed medical professional... You can however, go to a clinic like Planned Parenthood and get a low cost exam and perscription for the BC pill.. There are so many ONLY a doc. should tell you what you need for your lifestyle.... Also, it takes about a month for a BC pill to really start working so you would have to take the pill for more than 1 cycle... Use a back up method of BC for the first month....Good luck

Talk to your doctor.... Almost all doctors offices get samples of meds..especially birth control pills..
Other than that try the Sexual Health division of your local Public Health Department...
They provide free birth control & education if requested.
