Does anyone have any good ideas? BTW she did register but I really didn't like any of the items that she has on that list I want to get her something that the baby will be able to grow with..oh and she's having a girl...

My son loves green beans but the Gerber baby foods are just too runny. Is it okay to give him like, Green Giant green beans and cut them up real small? He has six teeth, so he can eat just about anything. lol Thanks!

My husband and I have been married for six years now and we are finally ready for kids. I am 27 years old and got off the pill last April 06. I have not been able to get pregnant and its rather frustrating. I am over weight, but have seen bigger women who are pregnant. I have been told to lose weight and it will happen. Last year I lost 15 llbs but was on a plateau. I don't get a period very often. I have not had one since January. Anyone in simalar situations.

In June 2005, I had my tubes tied. My period is not late yet, but I have numbers of pregnancy symptoms. Breast changes, weight gain, frequent urination, change in sense of smell, extreme fatigue, sleep changes, and some morning nausea. Who has some info on if I may be pregnant?

It took 7 years for us to get pregnant with our first child and I am anxious to start ttc again however I am beastfeeding and haven't started my cycle yet. I have cut back(BF) drastically to try to start cycle but so far no luck. I know prometrium can help you to start but I would like to hear from anyone who has done this.

my fiancee had a miscarriage a couple of months ago and is finding it hard to deal with .When we first got togther she had an abortion as we were not ready and still students .Although the doctor has ensured her the abortion has not had any effect and the miscarriage was just one of those things ,she blames herself and is very depressed and i dont know how to help her ?????????????//

Hi! The doctor sent me for a routine AFP blood test because i didn't want to have the amniocentesis or any invasive testing. The results came back within normal range. Should i still worry that there is anything wrong with the baby?

I still sleep very comfortably on my stomach, I dont fall asleep with all my pressure on my stomach, I put a pillow between my legs. But when I wake up im usually all the way on my stomachI thought I read where it was ok, but I could be wrong,

i'm having alot of trouble trying to get my 3 year old daughter to poo in the toilet.she doesnt wear nappies anymore and has no problem using the toilet to pee, also have very few accidents at night but when it come to poo's she'll just refuse to go.she holds it in for days so i'll get worried it'll harm her..put a nappy on and she'll be dirty within half an hour either that or she'll do it in her pants. it's now made her constipated as its coming out like little pellets but i'm at a loss what to do.i dont want to force her to do it in the toilet as i feel pressuring her will make it worse but i'm scared of the damage it may cause if she keeps holding it in.anyone got any advice? thanks in advance x

My exhusband has bipolar and lives nearby but is all over the place mentally; it has now been over nine weeks since he has even asked how our son, 2, is doing; still is typically once every five or six weeks that he'll stop by for less than half an hour anyway despite my many attempts to include him in our son's life..
I have been seeing someone very seriously for almost five months who has embraced my situation and truly loves my son as if he were his own. We have talked about the future and despite having some opposing viewpoints on future children (I want, he doesn't), I would very much like to thank him in a special way on Father's Day without overdoing it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

my doctor may ask me soon if i am sexually active.. I am afraid that if i say yes, (which i am), she will tell my mother--and i do not want her to know this yet. my doctor and my mother are friends..i am not sure whether there are actual laws that breach doctor-patient confidentiality when the patient is under 18 years of age.
so.. 1--should i lie if she asks?
2-- is it possible that she will tell my mother if i tell her i am sexually active? (would this be legal)
3--if she tells my mother.. what am i supposed to say to her afterward?
4-- if i say that i am not sexually active, could the results of my blood/urine tests be altered?

I'm visiting my niece this weekend, and she's celebrating her 2nd birthday. What toys does your toddler girl LOVE that costs less than 30 dollars?

And, just to show I'm not a bad aunt, just leaving it up to strangers to come up with ideas for me, I'm thinking maybe...

a bubble-blowing kit to make huge bubbles outside
a fun sprinkler
a very very simple computer game (she LOVES the computer, and can't stand never being able to use it)

My first son was breastfed & never had any ear infections nor cold/colic/ or reflux problems

My second son is formula fed because of medical problems I was having & he has already had a cold/ear infection/terrible colic/and always spitting up

why does a c-section occur..like i know if the baby is really big and the mom cant give birth natural she'll have to do a c-section or if baby is breeched.. what other reasons cause a c-section ?
