In June 2005, I had my tubes tied. My period is not late yet, but I have numbers of pregnancy symptoms. Breast changes, weight gain, frequent urination, change in sense of smell, extreme fatigue, sleep changes, and some morning nausea. Who has some info on if I may be pregnant?

Yes, you're pregnant. Probably twins.

Check with your doctor. It sounds like you are going through some hormone changes. It can be a sign of early menopause. Which yes even at age 32 some women start to go through it. It is rare but some women can get pregnant after having tubes tied.

Actually I would LOVE to find out how the guy above wants to download a pregnancy test? (What, you put a little urine into the 'A' drive ?)

Anyway.. we can give you ALL sorts of advice, but really you should go see your doctor on a non-emergency basis. It could be a LOT of things

1) Simple infection and your lymph nodes are going ape.

2) Menopause.. yep it can come early.. especially if you mess with hormones and anatomy.

3) Bad ligation: Normally a piece is taken out between the tied out tubes. Rarely (very rareley) it can grow back if done poorly.. usually the scar tissue clogs it up.. but who knows.

4) Outside influences.. (for example quitting smoking can bring on a LOT of the symptoms you are describing).

BUT.. bottom line.. its your health ! who you gonna call ? Yahoo questions or your MD?

.
good luck

If you are not pregnant, you may be having hormone problems. I know that I have all that stuff now that I am peri-menopausal. My Dr. told me that I should expect all that as my hormones are changing in my body. I suggest that you get a pregnancy test and check after your 1st missed period. If you aren't see your Dr. and see if he agrees with the hormone theory.
Good luck!

It's not a good idea to go by symptoms alone because they are unreliable. It sounds like you have the symptoms of pregnancy but there could be countless medical reasons besides pregnancy for those same issues. There is only one way to know for sure - get tested. Good luck.

I wouldnt think you would have all those symptoms already if you were pregnant, and your period is not late yet. But I could be wrong. I would suggest taking a test to make sure. If it comes out negative I would go see your doctor and tell him what you have been experiencing. It could be something else and he might want to have it checked out.

Good luck

You should check with your doctor to be sure because if you had your tubes tied, you should not be pregnant. However, you could have a hormonal imbalance which also sometimes causes these symptoms.

Sounds like Menopause instead!

YES, still think menopause. - NAH, just kidding. HOWEVER, you should have your hemocrit checked - you could be low on blood, causing you to be Anemic - sometime with tubes tied, it can cause an abnormal flow during your period, which causes you to lose more blood than your body is replacing. GOOD LUCK, and wait 10-20 years more on the menopause, lol

Remember, period symptoms often resemble pregnancy symptoms. It is possible for you to be pregnant, but rare. Take a test if you really need to.

you might be pregnent if you only got your tubes tied and not "burnt" at the ends as well. They can come a loose. But if they were tied and burnt then I would say you can't get pregnent anymore.
