Unless you're ready for real life, a family or STD, then don't do it. Condoms are no guarantee protection from either one.
Sex is a powerful thing. It has the power to give life(baby). It has the power to take it away(AIDS). If you're not willing to sacrifice yourself to one of these then don't do it.
There are no shortage of unwed young moms around the world who regret what they did. I bet every single one of them thought, "I won't get pregnant."
Please don't be that foolish making the same mistake.

You started having sex WAY to early, and I am sure you feel some guilt, and shame about that. Sex is a intimate great thing shared between two people who love each other, not a couple a kids. Yes, you are a kid at 13, 15 etc. Not only is it biblically wrong, it will ruin your Life if you end up pregnant at this age, or get a STD. Why be in such a rush? Just cause it's the "cool" thing to do, cause of peer pressure? Won't be so cool if your home with a baby, the peer pressure won't be worth it if you get HIV, and DIE. It happens.
Plus, all the psychological aspects of it. Your still maturing at that age, your going through all the changes of teenage life, your not as mature as someone say 23. Etc. You might have lost it at 13, but it isn't to late now to stop, and wait till you find the right guy and marry him first. Good luck.

Yes. The law states a certain age basically so that children do not have the emotional burden at a young age (being a kid is hard enough for some children) and mostly because the body hasn't matured enough i.e vaginal walls aren't thick enough to sustain a child birth, the law normally takes medical recommendations into account. Saying that, the lagal age was lowered in the Netherlands to 12 I believe from 14 a few years ago - don't know what it is now. It's 16 here in Britain. If it comes to my daughter she's staying celibate I had a say!!!

It's not necesarily about age, it's about maturity and responsibility (although those usually come with age).
1. Can you afford to pay for birth control? Do you even have a means of getting birth control?
2. Can you afford regular medical check-ups to maintain birth control? (a woman on the pill needs a yearly gyno checkup)
3. Can you afford medication to regulate/cure an STD? Would you be mature enough to tell your partner that you contracted an STD?
4. Can you afford to have/raise a baby, without the assistance of your parents and/or government?
5. How will you finish school if you have to provide care for a baby (again..no help from parents or government)
6. Are you willing to give up your innocence to be a mature adult and care for a child? No more parties, no going out to clubs when you are old enough, etc.
At 15, I would say the answer to all of those questions are NO.

Why do you think it is so funny that you started having sex at 13? Well, I'll give you a little reality check and be the first one to say that it isn't. Do you think it'll be funny if you all of a sudden get pregnant? It's not all happiness. Being a mom is a serious job, and if you don't know what you're expecting, you could be in for some real trials. You shouldn't even think about having sex till you're at least 18. By then you're an adult.

It has nothing to do with physical age. It has to do with actual maturity. If you're having sex, are you prepared to take on the responsibilities of getting pregnant or getting an STD? I didn't start until I was nearly 19 years old, and I started out of sheer depression and need to feel wanted. I was wrong and will regret it for the rest of my life, even though I am married now.

I agree with everyone that 13 is just too early but then I believe in waiting for the right one. Sex is meaningless, love isn't. And if you think that you are so much more macho and more a man for having had sex at 13, you are so wrong. Ever wonder why we like older guys? Maturity, maturity, maturity.

Underage sex....ummmm
Well it can lead to STD's, unexpected/unwanted pregnancy. It can lead to hurt feelings, and extream depression in girls. It can lead to lack of respect for ones self and the oppisite sex.
It can lead to a marage of things.....
It's wrong, it was the one thing god/s created as a special gift to give the one you marry. It's a one time ride expierence period! i dont care if you have the surgury to have the hymlin replaced. It's never the same. Its' an expierence that should be shared between a loving husband and loving wife. Not somethng that should be so friviously given away.

I don't think there's any one right age to start. Some 13-year-olds can handle it, but most are far too immature. Waiting until you're married is smart, even if you aren't a Christian. Abstinence is the only 100% effective way to prevent pregnancy, after all.

I think you should be able to deal with the possible outcomes of sex, the worst thing about sex is not getting someone pregnant or being pregnant you always have option like adoption . With S.T.D's you can't just take care of it some will kill you! So I think it isn't wrong but I don't personally recommend it because of the possible outcomes.
