Pregnancy & Parenting - 6 February 2007

I think i may be,.... my stomic hurts all the time, and i have been sick ( like a cold or somthing) and some monings I vomit , others i have um.... diarrhea. But it is every morning for the past few weeks. i am craving weird food.... and Im really moody. But i have not missed a menstrual period (but my last one was short) I always go for 5-6 days, this mounth was early and only 2 days.

I was sitting waiting to see the doctor well their was this one man sitting holding his head (I guess a bad headache) anyhow there was a woman and a baby sitting next to me and the baby was crying (less than 6 months old) and all of a sudden that man looked at that woman and said "I will give you 20 bucks if you shut that kid up"! The woman did not say anything but i said listen here "If you don't like it them walk outside the door because this is a baby and it does not know any better and if you don't want to hear kids crying then don't come to a doctor's office".

The man got up and waited outside the doctor office' door.
What would you have said?

My daughter is 3 and a complete diva. She can be very bossy and if she wants something she wants it right now. She has never been the type to throw a fit in public but at home she typically gets her way. All in all she's very independent. I'm afraid the line between child and parent is getting a little blurred.

I use time-out and that is effective sometimes. I really don't want to spank her. However, her father does at his house so I'm wondering if this is why she behaves so poorly at my house because she knows I'm not going to do anything drastic about it.

I guess what I'm asking is how do I redefine the boundary between parent and child without going overboard?

i'm trying to have another baby but it seems i cant get pregnat im 28 yrs an over weight about 230 lbs. i had previous had two abortions an about four years ago since then i cant get pregnat.

is it possible i will never get pregnat again because of me having those abortions? please help

ok so im 17 and my bf is 19, hes really controlling, we have been together for 5 years, he cheated on me 3 years ago and now he has a 2 year old son who has been living with us since he was 3 months ((his mother left him at our house and never came bac 4 him)) well i have raised his son as if he is my child, but he doesnt take care of his own kid, well now im pg by him. hes physically abusive and he is verbaly abusive. well if i leave him im afraid if i leave i cant take angel with me (( angel is his son )) im not allowed to leave the house unless im going to class (college courses, i graduated highschool last year) and he always tells his friends wat i look like naked and its really humiliating he tells me im fat (im not im 5'5 and im 132lbs) but im scared that he will hurt me now cuz im pg, he wanted me pg tho, i havent told him and im really scared im gonna get hurt even worse, and if i left could i get custody of angel, he thinks im his mommy?

Ok has anyone ever had these results. Suppose to start period middle of Dec. hasnt came yet, have taken several ept tests all neg. Went and had a blood test says under 10 something "not pregnant" but then reads a 5 and say may be 1 to 2 weeks pregnant! Im confused! this ever happen to anyone else? they said to wait another week or so!! what else could be the problem, have cysts would this affect results?

can someone please explain to me about the Rh factor i keep reading about in my pregnancy books? also, i have my first actual exam after i found i was pregnant, in about two weeks. i will be about 12 weeks along. should i expect to have an ultrasound?

I recently placed my son up for adoption in January and he was only 6 days old.He is going to a good home and family but I miss him soo much. I try to do other activities but I cant help but think that another woman will be calling my son hers and my son will be calling her mommy. I couldn't raise him because I am not ready to be a parent yet. I wanted my baby to have a better life and my family that is better off finacially. Also I wanted my baby to know what its like growing up with a father figure. His birth father didn't want to be a part of his life so that's another reason. My first question is: Did I make the right choice? Even if I couldn't afford to raise him should I just kept him so I wouldn't have to spend the rest of my life wondering about him. What they are doing at every moment

My seconds question for adoptees: Do you hate or despise your birth parents for giving you up and hate them that they gave you up?

Ok so I've never touched a cigarette before and I'm 5 1/2 months pregnant so I'm not going to either let's just clarify that but all this week I've really wanted to start smoking is this due to the pregnancy or what? ok, I will first start off by after the first time I had intercourse with my girlfriend her period changed like to a certain date, now its late again. I had sex with my husband Jan 27 and 29 when I was ovulating. Feb 5th, 6th and today I have had brown and light pink spotting. It started as just brown and it was very scarce and now it is a tad bit heavier but nothing at all like a period. My question is when can I take a pregnancy test?

Twice now when I have gone to the grocery store. Someone pulls in next to me while I am clearly unloading children. They look at me while walking away and with their remote blast thier car alarm/horn. This makes me jump and scares my daughter half to death and makes her scream in terror. I tried parking farther away but it happened again. Is it my place to say anything? Do I have rights or is their right to set their alarm anytime anyplace more important than mine or my babies hearing. Do you think they may have done it on purpose?

Took a test and it was positive, and my breasts are sore! It's 3 days past the due date of my period. However, I've been having cramping like I'm having a bad menstrual period the past week... is this normal? Also a tiny, tiny bit of spotting occasionally.
