Spoiled brats get what they want, but not what they need. If you are considering turning into a whiny petulant child in order to obtain more attention or material goods, I would advise you against it.
Spoiled people do not get respect, and respect does go a long way.

That's what makes them spoiled and bratty - always getting what they want. Brats are usually easy to find because they are so winy and get what they want from wining & throwing fits.
If she's not winey then maybe your sister always seems to get what she wants because she is alway happy with what she gets and she doesn't complain about the things that she's not getting.

usually they do!but what kind of lesson is that teaching us and our children, act like a total brat and get whatever you want !what's up with people today? is it cool to be a spoiled brat?? i don't think so!!!

Well sometimes the get what they want (not wont)...but parents aren't dumb and they realize what's going on.You may think your little sis gets everything but when you were her age..you probably got the same treatment.

Not in my house, they didn't. If one of my children whined and whined for something, I looked them square in the eye and said' "If you ask one more time, you will never, never , in this lifetime get what you're whining for. If you stop asking, there's a possibility you might get it in the future, just not right now." It stopped the whining immediately. You can mention my method to your parents. Maybe they can cure your spoiled sister.
