my daughter needs to go to schol on friday in a nursery rhyme costume. i am on a limited budget and only 2 days laft. could anyone please suggest a cheap and chearful costume that i could possible make. thanks

MAKE A HAIRY SPIDER , SUSPEND IT ON A STICK .SHE CAN TAKE A LITTLE STOOL AND WEAR A PRETTY DRESS. AND EVEN HAVE A SNAK PAK ON HER LAP
To make the spider use a round ball of black wool and stick pipe cleaners in it for legs

How about baa baa black sheep, dress her all in black with a cotton wool black tail and carrying a sheep cuddly toy. or old MacDonald had a farm - wellies and some old clothes with a straw hat from a charity shop and to make it girlie she could be the farmers wife from the farmers in the den! All the best!

How about Mary as in Mary had a liitle lamb? I'm sure she already has a pretty dress she could wear and she could take a toy lamb and you could perhaps make a crook for her to carry too using a walking stick covered in ribbon, good luck.

How about little Mary? If she wears a blue or pink skirt, get a little apron over the top and get a hat and the staff. Total cost (provided you have got the skirt) :£15 max.

the queen of hearts. all you need is some cardboard which can easily be found in supermarkets and some paint. cut 2 rectangle pieces of card, one for the front and one for the back, and paint them like playing cards. im not sure how you can attach them together so that they hang over your daughters shoulders but i guess that you could use string or ribbon for this. a plastic crown could top the outfit off so that she has her queens crown.

you may purchase colored feathers from craft shops so per chance purchase her a undeniable t-blouse and enable her stick her personal feathers on it to she will be ready to have interesting together? purely a concept and im particular you ought to discover some fairy wings and cover them in feathers too?

pirate......., white long socks with boots or shoes with hand made buckles on top, cut up trousers BLACK , big shirt with scarf tried round middle, head scarf round head, curtain ring earrings, black eye liner top and bottom,. beard pencil-ed in etc, soot /mud on face / hands / card board sword / toy parrot attached to shoulder .....CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW ME HEARTIES or black beard !!! good luck
