Abortions done by a professional and without complications have no impact on your future chances of conceiving. If there were problem or complications, for instance an infection, than that would impact your chances of conceiving but not the abortion itself. I have to agree with one of the above answers; Weight has a huge amount to do with fertility, especially as you get older.
Also, if you are trying to conceive you should contact your OB/gyn for a pre-pregnancy appointment to discuss what you should do and how you should approach it. You can talk with them at that time as well regarding the difficulties you are having and see what might be factors and what solutions are available. First and foremost you need to get yourself health. Lose some weight, start eating right, don't drink or smoke at all, start taking your vitamins and get some exercise... those will help more than anything and once you start gaining pregnancy weight you will appreciate what you did for yourself and your baby.
Best of luck!

Trust me, you can still get pregnant. If you've been trying for a while you should see your doctor. They can start a plan to figure out what's going on. And yes, your weight could be a factor, but probably not the biggest one. Try getting an ovulation predictor and have lots and lots of sex! Good Luck!

No, you can still get pregnant, but I think your weight may be a factor as to why you haven't conceived recently.
