My daughter usually goes to sleep around 10:00 at night and has a glass of milk as she is laying down. That is another thing, how do i get her to not drink right before she goes to bed so i can start potty training her? She will then wake up at 4:00 in the morning and want juice. She will cry for a long time and really loud if i don't get her something to drink.. What do I do?? I am afraid that if i don't give her milk right before she goes to bed, she won't go to sleep and then at 4:00a.m. she will stay awake if i don't get her some juice. I think I remember hearing some where that if I gradually decrease the amount fluids I give her before she goes to bed then she will eventually get down to nothing to drink...Is this right?? Please help me.. I am so anctious to get her potty trained too..

I have been reading other posting about women thinking they were pregnant after having their tubes tied, but is there anyone out there who really did get pregnant and didn't just "think" they were. I got my tubes tied 7 years ago and right now I am experiencing symptoms of pregnancy: breast tenderness, nausea, etc. I am not "late" yet, I am not to until the end of the week. Can anyone provide any success stories of pregnancy after tubal ligation?

Most mornings I have diarhea, and before pregnancy I was always consitpated. I'm now 9 weeks along, and seem to have this problem most mornings. Is it possible to experience morning sickness 'come out the other end' rather than vomiting? (gross I know, sorry!)

I have now taken 4 home pregnancy tests and all have confirmed 'positive.' However, I went to the doctor yesterday and the urine came back 'negative.' They ran a blood test and it came back 'positive' but with very low number for the hormone. If I am pregnant, I am probably 2-3 weeks at most. Is this number due to the 'early' pregnancy or is something else going on? I have to recheck blood in a week. Just never heard of such a thing...either you are 'pregnant' or you are 'not.' Help!!! Waiting and wondering...anybody else ever experience this??

I know I have asked this before, but my dd is still not trying any new foods. My pedi. said to just keep giving her new things and she is the type of baby that may take 20 times before she will eat it. Here is her schedule. She is 14 months old:
7:00 - 6 oz. milk(still in a bottle...working on that)
8:00- 8:30- breakfast - she does ok with this- pancakes, oatmeal, waffles an occasional egg and fruit(still baby food)
12:00 or so - lunch- all she will eat is mac and cheese, toast, any baby food fruit and veggies or pizza. She will eat crackers of any kind and cookies of course.

1:00 - nap - 4 oz. milk before nap
3:00 - snack
5:30-6:00 dinner same foods as listed above. I just give her whatever she didn't eat for lunch
7:00-7:30 bed and 7 oz. milk

my pedi. said not to worry about what she is eating that eventually she will eat other things, but I feel like she is not getting proper nutrition if these are the only foods she will eat. i will keep trying and hopefully she will not spit something new out.
thanks
Debbie

My 15 yr old daughter left her lunch in the fridge this morning and text messaged me (about an hour before lunch time) to bring it to her at school. It would not have been a hassle for me to take it to her school for her but would it be more beneficial to not take it to her in order to teach her some responsibility? Is that out of line?

I am 30wks 3 days pregnant.... 9wks 4 days until my due date and i don't know if i will make it til then!

I am soooo moody and irritable and uncomfortable. I'm tired beyond belief because i just can't sleep - if i do (miraculously) find a position in which to sleep its a given my baby will start kicking until i move... and then i'm uncomfortable again. I'm feeling really horrible on all fronts. I'm working full-time and this is draining my (already) low energy levels... half the time i feel like a zombie. Everything in my body aches more than usual. I've tried to be positive and stay healthy and active etc and so far its worked but i now feel like i'm reaching the ends of my reserves. I just want to sleep away the next nine weeks which is completely impossible. I'll be working for another 7wks. I'm constantly on the verge of tears for no reason and i just want this to be over!

Any advice ladies? I really need it!

A good friend of mine is going through a high risk pregnancy.
She is a stay at home mom. Her husband does not get benefits through his job so he was paying out of pocket for it. Recently they ran into some hard times and could not afford to pay their premiums so their policy was cancelled. She is 7 months and is having a lot of complications now. She is very depresed. I did not know what to tell her, I suggested that she call around to see if an ob/gyn can bill her but she won't do it.
I don't know what else to tell her, I'm pregnant myself and this is stressing me out. What would you do if you were in her shoes?
