pregnant or not?

has any1 had a positive pregnancy test but found out they r not pregnant? I've used a predictor but the pink dot is very light.

if you read the test within the required time i would say you are pregnant, i had one like this when i was pregnant with my daughter i was unsure of the result so i phoned the helpline they give you on the pack, they basically told me that it did not matter how light or dark the colour is you are still pregnant, they were right and when i did another test a week later the pink dot came up darker, good luck

I had a predictor which also had a very light pink dot on and I couldn't be sure, so I went straight down to Sainsbury's and got a really good brand - clear blue - and peed on it right away cause I was excited and the test showed me as clear as day and in about 10 seconds of peeing on it that I was pregnant. If you want to know, I would recommend that you splash out that bit more money and get a really good brand like clear blue

If you let a pregnancy test sit too long it may turn pink. Check it after the time period allotted and then throw it away. Do not be tempted to check it again because after time the results may be skewed.

Remember the pregnancy hormone doubles every couple of days. Wait two days and take the test again, you will get srtonger results.

i sued a predictor test the dot was also very faint with me to which confused me and had me doubting the results so i went and bought a first response test got a dark line so after 4 tests i now believe i m pregnant and i am sooooooo pleased

Usually when the dots appear (even very faint) it means positive. To be sure, just leave it for four or five days and do the test again or see ur doctor. Good luck.

i had 2 negative tests but then the three one was positive and then alone came my son. Second time was positive and along came my other son. Do a test in a few days time just in case. If you did one today then do another one in three days time. If you are congrats.

its very unusual for a false positive. I would try the test again in a few days.

i would try taking a blood test those are the most accurate P.G test but if its one from the store just trying buying another one and try it in a couple of days also just to let you know if you want to save money just buy one from the 99 cent store that is where I bought mine and they never came out wrong :) Good Luck Girly

Best is to take another one in a couple of days time and if it´s really bugging you go to a doctor and do a test there.

all positive results are pregnant as the second line cant appear without the hormone being present in the body, congratulations x
