I am only talking about making toast...beans on toast etc..and maybe helping me to cook a meal.

He is 7 years old, so obviously i am not expecting him to cook a meal by himself!!! Just wanted to know how old you think it's a good idea to start, and would it be safe for him to stir hot food in a pan?? w(ith me looking on-obviously).

when should a baby start talking?
my baby is 7 months old and she doesn't say a word.
i have a friend that has a baby of 7 months old too and she says that her baby says some words like mom, dad,and bottle.
i don't know if i should belive her.

but that makes me think that my baby is behind some others babies.

please tell me your experiences

I am 40 weeks, have been 60%effaced for over 3 weeks, I was dilated to 2cm, 3 weeks ago, but now I closed and am at zero, how much longer any tips on what I can do to induce labor. I've had constant contractions every 15-20 min for 2 weeks. I can't stand the pressure any longer, what can I do?

Okay, I'm 8 weeks pregnant with my first child, and I started getting morning sickness last week (week 7). That's all well and good, I expected it, but today has been awful with it. I can't hold anything down for more than an hour or so, except water stays down pretty well. Am I overreacting, because so far it hasn't been this bad, or should I be okay, I'm just confused.

Hello. My daughter has been sic since yesturday. I took her to the ER but the doctor said that if she was coming down with something that it was too soon to tell. Anyway I've heard that I can alternate Tylenol and Motrin sooner than waiting the 5 hours after giving Tylenol. Does anyone know exactly how many hours in between the alternating? Serious answers only and only if you know for sure please. Oh and by the way my daughter is 22 months and is 25 pounds.

I am only sixteen getting to turn seventeen and I think I may be pregnant. I find out in two or three more days but I am very scared because my family including I are very strong in Church and my dad is a baptist deacon. for the past few days i have been urinating for than usual. It isnt an abnormal colour and it doesn't smell or sting i just keep going! me and my finace have been trying for a baby for 7months however he only has 4% chance of having kids so its hard.
No other pregnancy symptoms but im due n in a week, its probably nothing so im not getting my hopes up but was wondering if any of you guys think i possibly could be. And did any of you have this symptom so early on in pregnancy? thanx

My husband and I have been trying for another baby for a year, next month. Every month that goes by has been the same, my period starts slow with bright red/pink then the flow picks up by day 2. This time I started on time but its dark brown, and its been 4 days of it, with some dark red today, I took a test today it was - - - , I did have light bleeding with my first, when my period was due and didn't take a test until day 9 of spotting. I just don't want to wait another 5days, we want this so bad. any feedback would be great..........

My sister in law has been diagnosed with an Abdominal Pregnancy. The ultrasound showed an embryo implanted on the outside of her uterus. They are making her wait a week to see what happens before she gets anymore tests. Has anyone ever heard of this? Can the baby survive outside the uterus?I have read some articles citing the live birth of a fetus implanted in the abdomen. I can't find much on ectpoic pregnancies that are NOT in the Fallopian tubes. Help please?

I have always used birth control pills with my husband for years and I didn't get pregnant until we planned my recent pregnancy. I have never relied on condoms for birth control.

After our baby is born I plan to breastfeed, and I do not want to take birth control pills because we plan to have our children 2 to 2.5 years apart. I want nothing to affect my milk or fertility.

I am worried that condoms may fail and I will get pregnant too soon after the baby is born. What advice do you have for a breastfeeding mom trying to avoid another pregnancy? Did you plan to breastfeed and not go on the pill? How did it work out for you?

I had my period at the end of January. Is it too early for me to have my period at the beginning of this month. This morning I was cramping really bad. My cousin is 10 months old. She's always had constipation problems since she was born. Every now and then she will have a good bowel movement, but sometimes it takes a few weeks... other times she just has small hard pebbles. (Sorry if this sounds gross to anyone...) We never paid no mind to it, we just thought it was the formula. But now that she's on foods, we've gave her tons of prunes. Nothing seems to be working. We took her to go see a doctor, he prescribed some laxatives for infants, but that doesn't seem to be working. Any other home remedies??? I'm out of ideas and desperate.

I had sex with my hubby 2 days before my ovulation and he said that some came out before he moved(we don't use condoms or birth control) then the day after my ovulation started we had sex again and he said none came out inside of me. Could I be pregnant? We are trying to become pregnant so anyone can help. PLEASE HELP!!! By the way we have a 1 year old already and we want her to have a little brother or sister. I have been having contractions since Sunday night - not timeable though - they progress for a few hours, then go away! My doctor swept my membranes at my 40th week appt yesterday and the contractions I get are spaced far apart, but stronger and I think I lost/am losing my mucous plug (pink tinged gross jelly stuff). I am more sick of people calling me every day to see If I had the baby. He's on his own time! LOL! Let me know any opinions or share your stories!!!
