I know I have asked this before, but my dd is still not trying any new foods. My pedi. said to just keep giving her new things and she is the type of baby that may take 20 times before she will eat it. Here is her schedule. She is 14 months old:
7:00 - 6 oz. milk(still in a bottle...working on that)
8:00- 8:30- breakfast - she does ok with this- pancakes, oatmeal, waffles an occasional egg and fruit(still baby food)
12:00 or so - lunch- all she will eat is mac and cheese, toast, any baby food fruit and veggies or pizza. She will eat crackers of any kind and cookies of course.

1:00 - nap - 4 oz. milk before nap
3:00 - snack
5:30-6:00 dinner same foods as listed above. I just give her whatever she didn't eat for lunch
7:00-7:30 bed and 7 oz. milk

my pedi. said not to worry about what she is eating that eventually she will eat other things, but I feel like she is not getting proper nutrition if these are the only foods she will eat. i will keep trying and hopefully she will not spit something new out.
thanks
Debbie

i don't know if this will help, but I've heard that too much milk can have an affect on their appetite..try taking out some of the milk in the day and substituting with juice and once she's used to that try introducing new foods..

She is getting more then enough nutrition, even though it may not look like it.

If you take a look at her list, there are more healthy foods than unhealthy foods. Oatmeal, eggs, fruits, veggies, toast, crackers--those are all very healthy.

Continue offering new foods to her, but don't stress out if she doesn't like them. Kids stick with what they know. She knows she likes eggs and crackers, so that's what she's going to eat. She's not going to eat that unfamiliar food that you just put on her plate, but that unfamiliar food will become familiar if she sees it enough.

Keep trying! Sounds like you're doing a great job already though :-)

It can be hard work. I have 17 month old who is such a fussy eater. I have bought lots ofbooks with recipes and tried her on all sorts. Just keep up the good work and keep trying her with different things. I chop fruit up and leave it out for her during the day so she can nibble.

Kids like consistancy they don't like stuff to change (including foods) she likes the food she is eating I wouldn't worry about changing it soo much right now when she is older then you can start changing stuff .

your daughter is ok she isn't each doughnuts and candy bars
