I honestly would not wait a FEW weeks as you stated. I would either go to the hospital and explain to them you have high blod pressure and are nervous about the babies growth. They should do an ultrasound right then and there.
I would also express my concern in more depth to the doctor and ask her if you can get in to see her sooner, there is a good chance with a good hospital nicu unit of having the baby now and it surviving on life support until it is grown more.

Do not just sit around and wait for them to come to you, go to them! This may or may not be serious but if it is better to know and have help then to not know and lose the baby.

I know a dear friend of mine did not follow her gut and she lost her angel at 29 wks due to a cord accident. But she too had high blood pressure and other things with this pregnancy, she wishes to turn back time but that is not possible. There is always hind sight and I would hate for you to have to live in hind sight! Please do something for yourself about this situation.
And try to relax, easier said then done I know. Best wishes to you.

With the blood pressure problem, your body may have just been retaining fluid and now it is gone, making the baby feel like it has shrunk. Tell this story to your doctor today and see what medical advice you are given because that is what you really need to do for your own reassurance.

The best thing to do right now is try your hardest to keep you stress level down as much as you can because that can affect your baby. Make sure that you take your prenatel vitamins everyday and drink plenty of fluids. Do everything you can on your part to benefit the baby. The doctor should know what they are looking for and try and let them do the worring.

It could be as simple as the baby moving into position. Which would mean that baby is deeper into your body. If you baby is still active this is a good sign. Be patient. Don't stress. Do anything you can to relax. Your stress could cause harm to your unborn child.

Every baby grows differently! Another reason to be patient.

Your doctor is not to worried, or you would have been rushed to a specialist.

I would say the best thing is to try and not stress and worry because that won't help I know it's difficult but try. I just thought I would let you know that my mum was induced with my brother because they thought he was small for dates and he was 9lb 6oz so they don't always get it right. I also had a friend that thought that she was losing her waters coz she started to shrink but it turned out it was just that the baby had changed position, good luck I hope all is well.

Take a break from work, get more sleep, lay on your right side to promote venous return, go to OB on time.

All I can recommend is to rest and stop stressing.
I hope that everything works out well for you, please, stay in bed and get your man to look after you and you other children (I assume you have other children from your screen name)
