Pregnancy & Parenting - 6 February 2007

I am having problems with a 16 year old Boy that thinks he is an adult. Last year he was doing good in school was respectful now within the last 3-4 months he went to being a great kid to Cursing all the time smoking drinking and failing his classes.And talking very disrespectful to his mom. We don't put a lot of rules on him. During the week he has to be home by 9:00 weekends by 1:00 which I think is to late. Try your best in school, respectively talk to your Mom, keep your room clean and no drugs smoking or drinking..I think those are fair rules.. What do you think and what should I do?? He comes home tonight after running away for two days. I have two younger kids that I just don't want to see all that he is doing.

My friend was telling me about how his nephew is in 1st grade and he's one of the only black kids in a mostly white town. I had no idea what to say when he said kids in his class were calling him a n**ger. Has anyone heard of 5 and 6 year old kids using words like that?? I didn't learn that word or what it meant until probably 5th or 6th grade.

Since too many idiots answered my first question, I'll ask again. How do you deal with letting a guy know he's going to be a dad if the conception occurred because of a one night stand? I do not know if I am, just worried I COULD be. I am on birth control, have been for five years. I did go out with this guy a couple more times but havent spoken to him recently. I know he'd love to be a father; just worried......any suggestions??

Am I pregnant?
I would like 2 know does anybody think I'm late?? My last period was on dec 31, it went away on Jan 6 Now it's feb 6 usually my period comes every 25-28 days i been really tired lately but i took a test on saturday and it said negative. I so want to be pregnant so bad and im not stress or nothing. the last time i had sex was on wenesday. does it mean im 8 days late counting from when my period started or 6 days from when it end???? me and my bf havent been using protection for about 2 months because we r trying to have a baby. Im also 22 so its not like my age would be a problem

This morning my sons teacher called me and told me that my son spanks other kids in school :( .he said that they were acting naughty and naughty kids should be spank i asked him where he learned this and he said that mommy spanks him when he is naughty i was shocked by this :( ,the next morning i asked my wife about this and she said that spanking is a good form of punishment and that it teach's kids to behave ,i was shocked by this :( ,i tried telling her that spanking is bad and that our son shoulden't learn that violence is the answer ,but she refuses to listen ,should i spank her to teach her that it hurts ,and what should i tell my son about hitting other kids in school ???

At the time i thought it was the right thing to do because i wasnt financially stable and the father of the child was a ex drug addict criminal. Hi! I have felt fine for about 3m now (last time I got sick was when I was 3m pregant) Just normal morning sickness. But anyways I ate spaghetti and meat balls, which I just ate the same thing about 2 days ago and felt fine, But now I can't seem to keep it down. I tried to eat a poptart and yogurt, but was unable to keep it down. Whats going on? I DO NOT want to take medicine. I'm trying to go through this with out it. Does anyone know of home remidies I can take? Or please tell me what I should do? I have a doctors appt Feb 12, so I dont want to go until then.

but he won't give an ultrasound until the third visit which is in three months. Is this normal? I had my first ultrasound for my daughter at 8 weeks. then at 5 months and so on. Should i advise her to go to another doctor? That first ultrasound is crucial right? they check all the organs and brain. Any opinions on this delayed ultrasound?

I had unprotective sex on Jan 1 and my period was due on the 15th. I started having pregnancy symptoms dizzy, back hurt, a lot of head achs, but my breast were not sore. so I took hpt on the 12 and it came back a faint positive, the next day on the 13th I started to spot brown blood for two days, then bright red blood for two days, then back to brown spotting again for two days no clotting no cramping. I am normally pretty heavy bleeder. I took a hpt after that and it came up negative, and the pregnancy symptoms were gone. I went to the doc and he did a blood test and it came back neg. I am due for my period again in just a few days and I am having no signs of my period, nor pregnancy symptoms. I am confused on what is happing to me and my doc is not telling me much, just to wait for my next period to come. Just wondering has this happend to anyone else?

I accidentally bought too many individually wrapped diapers (Ebay). I am having trouble trying to come up w/ an asking price for the remaining diapers. I do know that they cost more than the non wrapped diapers and am trying to get back atleast some ofthe money I spent.

I'm on birth control, however. I had my period and then the day I got rid of it, my bf and I had sex. He cummed inside me and then I realized I didnt bring my birth control with me so I never took it that night. i had symptoms of being pergnant and then a weekafter i was suppose to start my period, i started bleeding lightly then kinda heavy, and in my pad was a hunk of something i have never seen b4(this skin like stuff), what was that? i normally blood clot but this time it was little blood clotting and just that hunk of whatever. please tell me coud i still be pregnant or was that a miscarriage? I am 35 1/2 weeks and I have been hospitalized twice for pre-term labor. I am now dialated to 5 cm's and I lost my mucus plug within the last week and am having contractions, but not like the ones I had when I dialated from 4 to 5 cm. This is my first baby and I am told I have an easy dialated cervix. Anyone relate or have a guess of when she'll come according to expirience? Its so hard to prepare for anything when everything is uncertain. My doc suggested an amniosyntesis, anyone had one b4??
