I hope not, you need to get married soon before you decide to have a baby. The baby needs to have a stable family atmosphere with parents who are responsible enough to do it right. So get married first.
Don't get mad at me, you're the one living in sin...

Sometimes a test won't come back positive until you're a week or two late. I went through the same thing 2 weeks ago. The test didn't come back positive (a very faint line) until I was 8 days late. And you count from the first day of your last period. It doesn't matter how long it lasts. So you are 8 or 9 days late. I would wait 2 more days and test again or call your doctor and have a blood test done. Just because a pregnancy test comes back negative it dosn't mean your not pregnant. It means your HCG level is too low to show up on the test. Do you have other sysptoms of pregnancy like sore or enlarged breasts or nausea?

You count from the first day of flow. So if you last period started on 12/31 and you're usually every 25-28 days, you'd be about 10 days late.

you need to take another test. Pregnancy tests are usually never a false positive. If your first test was negative, you are probably not. It also depends on when you took the test, if it was too early, the test will not pick up the hormone varient. You can be tif the test comes back positive-you ARE pregnant. If you and your boyfriend want a baby so bad-why aren't you getting married first? A baby is MORE of a committment you know!

You may be pregnant but it may be too early for the test to read. Also, if you have a yeast infection or uninary tract infection, this could cause a delayed period and/or a negative test. If you feel that you are pregnant, or just worried about it, go to your OB/GYN for a test, or to your local health department. Also, from personal experience, you might be trying too hard. It took forever, and about 30 pregnancy tests, before I got pregnant with my youngest child. Hope this helps.

Day one of a pregnancy is considered the first day of your last menstrual period, so conception actually occurs a few days later.
As far as whether you are pregnant or not, I have no clue. But if you don't have enough of the Hcg hormone built up in your system, you won't test positive. I'd recommend waiting a few more days to test, but take care of yourself physically as you should if you were pregnant "just in case".

IF you are pregnant, then you go by the first day of your LAST period, so if it was Dec. 31st then you would be about 6 weeks along, go to the doc and have a blood test done to be sure!

The best thing to do is to get another test and check again. Not always but sometimes you can be late and it can be nothing, Maybe the weather or if you are hangout out with girls that you don't normal hang out with, and if you play sports can all effect your peiod but I would talk a test one more time. I wish you the best and good luck! God bless!!!

Get married!!! And then buy a test instead of asking us. Just take a test. And your period cycle is from the first day of your period until the start of your next. So, yes, your late.

You could very well be pregnant. If your periods are usually regular and you feel other wise ok, I think it is a good chance that you could be. Those over the counter test are not 100%, try another one or go to your dr.

Although HPT are convenient- theyre not always accurate. Go to your doctor for a blood test. It's the best and most accurate way to get a yes or a no- and start any care that you (and maybe baby) may require.
