everyone says I'm going to have a boy but am hoping for a girl. Did anyone carry this way and end up with a girl. Was this myth true for you or did it prove to be a wives tale?

Old Wives Tale.
I carried my first close in and aross my front, and people said that meant a boy (it was), and that like you are carrying yours meant a girl.
You can carry any sex of baby in any way, it's just how the baby lies ... has no indication of sex.

Yes,they say it will be a boy by the looks of your belly but its not necessarily true..A friend of mine/coworker got pregnant and EVERYONE thought she was having a boy,her belly was out just like a basketball,she was carrying low and everything but to our surprise it was a girl...Its hard to tell just by your belly,its usually the way the baby is positioned in the womb,not the shape..I went to this website that had information on wives tales including heartbeats and it goes to show they are not accurate at all....

I've had three kids, a girl and two boys. I carried the same way each time. Right out in front. I could've had a basketball strapped to my belly!

Everyone carries their babies different. I have all boys and i've always carried them different. My second one I carried like a girl, but that's not what I ended up with!

The only way you can determine the sex of your baby is having a sonogram.
My mother judged wrong one time and thought she was going to have a boy with the way her tummy was portruding. And later found that it was a girl...me.

i carried my girl all out in front and for a while it did look kind of weird shaped from my view looking down, like pointed i guess. with my boy i was more rounded all over. with the girl, from behing you would have never know i was pregnant until i turned around and whoa.

Wives tale totally! I have 2 wonderful girls that where pointy!
Whatever comes...You'll fall in love with him/her inmediatly!

an easy way to tell if you are having a boy or girl is by your line. if your line is straight then it is a girl, if it is crooked it is a boy

I knew this lady who looked exactly like that and she has two girls! So don't give up hope, but you know you'll love her/him no matter what!
