This morning my sons teacher called me and told me that my son spanks other kids in school :( .he said that they were acting naughty and naughty kids should be spank i asked him where he learned this and he said that mommy spanks him when he is naughty i was shocked by this :( ,the next morning i asked my wife about this and she said that spanking is a good form of punishment and that it teach's kids to behave ,i was shocked by this :( ,i tried telling her that spanking is bad and that our son shoulden't learn that violence is the answer ,but she refuses to listen ,should i spank her to teach her that it hurts ,and what should i tell my son about hitting other kids in school ???

Have your wife watch super nanny on tv and maybe she can learn that there are other ways to discipline your son besides spanking.Also let her know you will not tolerate any more spankings from now on.I would also have a talk with all three of you and your wife should tell your son that she was wrong in spanking him and she will not hurt him in the future.Good luck my friend.

Lol. you're funny. i was reading it when I came across you asking whether you should spank her or not that's when i started laughing. A whole family using the spanking method with others. I think you should start proving your wife wrong since she won't listen. Use a better method. Show your kid that he's doing something unacceptable & he shouldn't continue. maybe punish him when he makes a mistake & reward him when he improves. that way you can show your wife that there are a lot of ways to educate children & hitting is not one of it

I think she needs to lose her pleasure priveledeges for a while till she sees reason. Take away her toys from under the pillow too
The boy should also be shown that for his infractions at school he gets no game boy or x box or whetever his favorite toy is. He shoulkd receive praise for each day he returns home NOT haviin hit any children.
