That all depends on body type. I was 98 lbs and 5'2" when I got pregnant, with twins.... I delivered 5 weeks early and I was considered BIG for a woman carrying a single baby to full term. I have no idea how big I would have been if I had carried all the way. If you have a long torso you probably won't show that much, but if you think you have a pretty average build you'll probably show a lot (this does depend on the way the baby lays) because there isn't that much room for a baby lengthwise (up and down).

You are like me, I doubt your body structure will make you gain as much as some do. If you have just one baby in there you will probably gain between 25-30lbs. I was 97lbs 5ft 1inches when I got pregnant and ended up being 127 at 9 months. I also didnt eat the most perfect diet and still stayed around a 30lb gain. My doctor didnt tell me I had to gain anymore than 30lbs

I also spoke to a nurse at the time and she said people my size rarely have big babies

A safe healthy amount for women to gain is around 27 pounds. But since you are only 99 it could be a little less. Just remember to eat healthy for your babies health.

Wow. Your pretty petite to start out with, and dare I say, possible underweight. Your weight gain may have to be more than the average person. For an average weight person 25-30 lbs by end of pregnancy is within normal range. But everybody grows and gains differently. Good luck.

I am 4'11'' about 100 lbs. I gained 65 pounds and my baby only weigh in 6.9lbs. Don't worry, your doctor will also let you know what is healthy or not when it comes to your particular case. Tip: If you breast feed afterwards, you lose the weight quicker!

I was 106 lbs when I got pregnant. I am only 4'10". I am now 120 lbs and almost 29 weeks pregnant. Just depends on the size of the baby, your body, all kinds of things.

If you are normal weight for your height then you should gain between 25 and 35 pounds. If you are underweight then 35-45 is healthy. You are on the low end of normal, so probably 35lbs is best. I was 5'3" and 105lbs and I gained 35lbs.

Depends, most women gain from 15-40 lbs. You are already small so you may not gain all that much, maybe around 20 -30 lbs. or so. Everyone is different. I am 7 months pregnant and only gained 8 lbs. so far.
