Please read all of this Q before answering...
About 5 hours ago I was moving some boxes and junk when I cut my pinky open on what i believe may have been a rusty staple. I immediatly washed it out and squeezed out some of the blood to flush it of bacteria. I put a loose band-aid on it and continued cleaning.
an hour ago I noticed my hand getting very weak, and kinda numb(cold, tingly), now an hour has passed and it has progressed up my arm a little to about mid fore-arm, and my hand and elbow joints are all very stiff.
I dont think I pulled any muschles or anything, it was all very light items. My husband worrys about getting a tetnus shot, i havent ever gotten one to my knowlage. What do you think this could be? i dont feel like going into the hospital and having to stay for days of observations for nothing... I am 35 weeks prego, and everything else seems fine but my left hand and arm. Any advice would be helpful... Thanks.

I am almost positive the list of things I can take had it on there, but I can't find it anywhere. please don't tell me to ask a doctor, I already know that.

I know it depends on how many people are coming to the party & what you are planning to do. But I'm curious to see what people generally spend on a birthday party.

My son is going to turn 1 in a month & I'm starting to plan for his birthday party:)

I AM NOT HERE TO OFFENED ANYONE! what is the big deal about abortions? i know if you had one, you're killing your child. but what if the pregnant woman was raped and doesn't want a rapists child? and if they give up the child for adoption, wouldn't that be harder? you'll spend the rest of your life, not knowing your baby, it would be easier to know it was dead. and of course, you can get pregnant while on birth control, accidents do happen. if women got pregnant and don't want the baby, let them get rid of it! what are your views on abortion?

Looking to see if this is normal and/or if others had similar experiences. I am in the 35th week of pregnancy and am experiencing a lot of tenderness and pain in my groin, sort of where my legs join up. It feels like I've been horseback riding or on a bicycle with a hard seat for way too long. Normal?

I live with my grandparents, and they are so confusing...they hit me and yell at me and call me stupid if i dont make A's and B's,...but then they turn around and tell me im so smart i could make it out on my own and tell me they dont want me living with them or they dont want to look at me..so ive been kicked out of my house over 4 times this past month...but then the call the police and have them come get me...but then they arent even happy to see me they just yell at me and hit me because i left?....but then if i want to go somewhere, say a friends house, they have to talk to the parents and stuff like they actually care when they TELL ME they dont? They constantly tell my im retarded and that im trying to play mind games with them that im NOT doing......can someone explain to me where they are coming from?

My husband and I are trying to conceive, I am 3 months off of the pill. My last period was Dec. 31st and we have been trying all month, regularly. I took a Clear Blue HPT and it was negative, but I have been having tender breasts, bloating, hungry all the time, emotional... maybe just wishful thinking! What are the chances of a false negative? Anyone had this problem?

I call them weird, because they don't feel like regular pregnancy pains. My pain is in my lower, lower, lower back. The pain is so low that if feels like it is literally on my butt. ( like in the lower bones of my vertebral column, specially in the right side) I know some people expirience what's called: Back Contractions. First of all I don't believe they are contractions and secondly, if that's what they are, then, instead of having back contractions, I am having butt contractions. LOL Any similar expiriences on this?

You should not get pregnant until you have graduated college and established yourself in a career and are married. Until then, use a condom every time. And if you do get pregnant by accident then get an abortion.

When did your "milk" (colostrum) come in? I am 33 weeks pregnant with my 4th daughter and was just taking a bath when I guess the warm water must have caused the "let down" reflex and I leaked a bit (not much). I never actually had anything (milk wise) before my previous 3 daughters births, so this is new territory for me, just a bit curious how early some of you all got your milk. Also I'm wondering if this mean I could possiblely start pumping? Or will it just be colostrum until I have the baby (I generally have a hard time getting my milk supply established, it would be nice to get a head start lol)? Thanks in advance for your answers! (This is NOT a will I go into labor soon question, also please do not answer "ask your doctor" I have an appointment later in the week and intend to do just that, I am looking for answers from experienced mothers (or fathers who know what went on with their wives)).

why are there all these 13 and 14 year olds out there getting pregnant?
WHY ARNT THESE PEOPLE WATCHING THEIR KIDS AND TEACHING THEM RIGHT FROM WRONG.
you get mad that your 14 year old is pregnant? look how you brought them up. you should not be having kids unless you're married or have a full time job. making your mother watch your child is probably the most irresponsible thing you could do.

you're not "mature" by having a baby at 14. grow up, give these kids up for adoption and help the world out.

I was wondering if it was still possible to become pregnant if I had a really bad stomach flu and lost a lot of nutrients after having sex with my husband on one of my ovulation days.

I'm a Freshman in college and I've been babysitting since I was 12. The Parents both work at a tax place and need me a lot during tax season. On weekdays I get to their house at 2:30 when the bus comes and leave anywhere from 9-11. On saturdays a lot of times they have me working up to 13 hours.

There's 3 kids- ages 10, 8, and 6. They are good kids (not crazy or anything) but they do get out of hand sometimes, as all kids do.
I am also teaching the kids how to read arabic. I feed them, help them with schoolwork, make sure they do their chores, put them to bed, play games with them, bake with them, take them to places like the park and library, and pretty much just hang out with them. Plus I clean the kitchen and tidy up at the end of the day. They parents and kids both really like me.

I charge $10 an hour (It was the parents' idea.) At first I thought this was average, but after seeing some of the rates on this website, it seems like a lot. Do you think this price is fair?

I have a 7y/o daughter, 12yo son and a 15 y/o son. I dont know why but I let my 15 and 7yo get away with things that I wouldnt let my 12yo do. I make him clean his siblings rooms as a chore and I expect strait A's from him while my other kids are allowed to bring home C's.I also punish him more harshly then I do my other children. However I do love them all equally and I feel like this has gone on long enough. Do you do this to your kids? And how can I change?? I need all the advice I can get.

no, it is not normal.

see someone to work through this.

and do not act on any inappropriate impulses. if you feel that you might, call 911 right away. it's your job as a mother to protect you son at all times, even if protecting him includes from yourself.

you are doing the right thing by asking questions regarding how you are feeling. you, yourself have answered you own question. you wouldn't be asking if you truly thought it was normal.

ignore the people that have responded to your question rudely and insultingly. be proactive and follow through with the good advice that's been given.
