Well I have been told to let my nephew continue to carry his blanket, and to suck his thumb. They say he will grow out of it, however, I disagree with them I think something needs to be done.
I just cannot get a straight answer. I have tried to talk to his mom but she just blows it off. Please someone with experience in this field help me I am worried about him.

i'm just curious about my diet or lack thereofi like it, so there's not alot one can do about it. i also go to a boarding school which makes it MUCH easier for my 'rents arent here. i know it's unhealthy but hey i love it! ;-p

my diet goes as follows;

breakfast= typical sausage & bacon, milk & juice. 600 CALS
mid morning drink= mt. dew 200 CALS
lunch= 1/2 box of double stuff oreos & 1/2 gallon of whole milk 1700 CALS
mid afternoon snack= 2 candy bars & 2 mt. dews 900 CALS
dinner= 2 cheeseburgers, 2 liter of mt. dew & fries= 1900 CALS
dessert= 3 candy bars & 1/2 box of cookies 1800 CALS
bedtime drinks= thing of whipping cream & 2 sunkist drinks= 1300 CALS

TOTAL= 8,200 CALS & 250+ g's of fat...

Keep in mind this is not a typical day for me, i have these only once or twice a week. Also to note, i am 17 yrs. old, male, 5'10 & only 239 lbs. but i do have a 51in. waist! i also NEVER EVER workout! ;-p

My chest is very sore. I have recently noticed at night i have a vein that comes to surface in my left chest. I also have 2 large bumps on the same side of each boob.Dec 12 was my last full cycle, started on time this month but lasted one day. I have been urinating more often than usual.I do not feel any different, I have just had these few "symptons". I have also had a little more indegestion than usual. And Just a few days ago I noticed I am getting little white bumps on my face,chest, and neck. They pop but are very tiny.
I have taken 2 preg test w/in a week of eachother and both came back negative. Is there a possibility I could be?

I already understand the brown dominant, blue recessive gene concept, and that brown eyed people who carry a blue recessive gene can have a child with blue eyes, but what I need to know is how many generations can a blue eyed recessive gene stay in a family?
Example- Baby has blue eyes (for 1year, assuming they'll stay blue) Mom and Dad both have brown eyes. Dad's parents both have brown eyes, as do 3 of 4 grandparents (babies great grandma has blue eyes) Mom's parents both have brown eyes, but mom's grandparents are unknown.

SO Can a blue eyed gene from your paternal grandmother, and only your paternal grandmother, cause you to have blue eyes? Or are the babies' blues because Mom's ex boyfriend has beautiful sky blue eyes?
Or in ex.2, if baby has blue eyes, mom and dad have brown eyes, and dad's parents had brown eyes, but one of mom's parents had blue eyes, could one grandparent with blue eyes cause you to have blue eyes?
What's the least it would take to have a blue eyed baby?

I'm 8.5 months pregnant. The father wanted me to have an abortion when he found out, and I chose to keep the baby. He left me, and then came back for a very very brief period when I was about 3 months pregnant. I haven't spoken to him in 5 months now... and the last time I spoke to him he was screaming at me saying that he was going to "Come down on my ***" in court and take the baby away. Throughout my pregnancy I've tried to just forget it - I've been working and going to school full time - paying all medical bills by myself. But as the time gets closer, I'm becoming TERRIFIED. I mean, after the baby is here, my lawyer will be filing for child support, and I'm not even sure that it's worth it!! I'm terrified that he'll be able to get my child... his family is wealthy... How probable is this? What can I do? What can HE do? I would appreciate ANY advice.

I had what appeared to be implantation bleeding for about a week. It was either brown or pink and was very light the entire time with no cramps. Definitely not a usual period for me. It was a week earlier than when my period should've came and what I consider a normal period never did come. It was just light bleeding/spotting. Now my breasts hurt a little and I feel bloated. I've been getting really frustrated to the point of tears over really dumb things. Does it sound like I'm pregnant? I have no way of getting a test this weekend so for the time being I'd like to hear people's opinions. Please and thank you.

My 5 mo. old baby fell off of the couch today. I looked away for just a second and she hit the floor. I freaked out and immediately scooped her up and checked her for reflexes and such. She seemed perfectly fine (no pupil dilation, vomiting, etc.) , even smiling like her normal self after about a minute of crying. I feel like a terrible mommy, by the way.

Anyway, I called her doc and he said there was no need to bring her into the hospital since she only fell about 1.5 feet and she seemed totally normal. However, after I talked to him, she's been particularly fussy this evening. Do you think the fussiness has to do with her fall?

P.S. Please be kind... I'm a first time mom and I'm trying to trust my instincts, but I need some advice from experienced moms.

Well how do u know when ur period is really late? I always get my period the last days of the month. my last period was on december 31 till jan 6, now is feb 3 does that mean im late??? i always get a little bit of cramps before i get my period and i dont feel nothing so far. Is it to early to get a test?

Hi im planning a trip to disneyland for my childs 2nd bday the tickets are free so im really not wasting the money if he hates it but i was wonderind have any of you taken a two yr old to disneyland and if so how did it go?can they even ride some of the rides?my son does not like to sit still and hates even waiting in line at the grocery store..lol...do you think iam wasting my time ?do they have acctractions for children that young?we plan to get a room also to take a brake so anyone plz share your experence with me i'd appreciate it!biggest help gets best anwser!!!!

I have a son that is 3 in March. He is a handful when we go out shopping. He hates being in the stroller but when he's out, he doesn't want to hold hands and tries to run off. We take the stroller anyway and use it as a threat and that generally works but because of this I don't go out with him alone. I have to have at least one other adult with me. I am so over this stage in his childhood, just wondered what age approx, do they tend to start walking nicely with you when you are out together.

I'm not one to typically gain weight. I stayed about the same weight for 4 years and now, in the past month, I've gained 9 pounds. My breasts are slightly larger than normal and I have a small pot belly in my abdomen. I've been taking my birth control and I had a period last month but with all that has happened I'm beginning to think that I could be pregnant. I don't know if you will still have a period taking birth control so does anyone know if I could be pregnant?

Since I was little, I've always said that, someday, I'd like to adopt at least one child (and I'd also like to have my own biological children). However, I am not planning on getting married. I don't really believe in marriage. I'm only 18 and may have a change of heart about marriage in the future, but for now I don't really think marriage is for me. I was just wondering if a single person or an unmarried couple can adopt.
