Pregnancy & Parenting - 3 February 2007

here are my symptoms

1. strange food cravings

2. very strange period for the last 3 months or so (about once every other week for 3 days)

3. I have been very moody too

4. somewhat more sleepy

5. finger is changing colors (greyish) from engagement ring which is white gold, yesterday had it cleaned and the person said it can do that when you are pregnant

I havent taken a test yet, but probably will tomorrow. dont even know if it will be accurate because of my strange period though. oh, I am also on the mini pill which can make your period do weird things, but I have been on that for about a year and a half and this is the first time my period has been so strange. I talked to my dr and she just said keep watching my period since I have only had one sex partner (my fiance) and dont have any STDs. also it took my mom almost 8 months to show when she was pg so I dont even know how far along I would be if I am.

I'm 35 weeks along and when I went to last ob appointment, my doctor told me that my baby had dropped. Since then I've had a horrible pain between my legs that feels like my baby is going to fall out of me! Sometimes it dosnt feel so bad and sometimes I can barely walk. My daughter feels so so heavy. Is this a sign that I will soon go into labor?

My husband and I have been ttc for 6 months. This month a few days before my period I started "feeling" pregnant. . got sick while eating chinese. . never has happened before. . took the test and it showed a very faint positive. . Ive taken 4 tests. . all postive, but I'm still not due for my period yet. I am scared for some reason that Im not really pregnant. .even though I know more than likely I am. . Im just afraid something bad will happen. . I guess im pessimistic. Thanks for any feedback!

my son just turned a year and where I live its down to below zero temps and my furnace has a hard time keeping the house warm. My son pulls his socks off all the time and I have to constantly put them back on. Also they feel real cold if I let him go w/out socks. How do I teach him not to pull them off?

My Two-year old Godson is obsessed with these cartoon characters called Wawa Wubsi (I don't know how you spell it) and I can't find any infor about these things anywhere. I walked on my 9 year old daughter touching herself. We have been havign 'the talk' since always, I don't believe this is one time thing. She knows where babies comes from and how do they get there! My question is: should I explain her the pleasure or you think she's too young to know?

The storebought stuff is so expensive - seems to me I could just process some instant oatmeal (plain of course) in the blender and make my own for pennies, but how would I go about making rice or barley cereal? My baby is six months old. I've tried Malupa and Heinz brands, plus Walmart's store brand, but they're all pretty pricey. Has anyone had sucess making their own?

I don't belong to a church and I considered the Salvaion army but I also have a mobile, one of those boppy pillows, and several other barely and never used items, and didn't know if they took that sort of stuff. I'd like it to go to someone who needs it, how do I find such a person?

The other line stopped half way down. What does that mean

My husband and I had a son almost two years ago and he was born with his right foot severly clubbed. Before 5 months of getting casts on it each week, and one surgery, it looked like it curved up like a candy cane hook. That foot is smaller than the other one and his clalf is smaller than the other leg.
What do you think the odds are that our next child will have the same birth defect?


Also, please keep him in your thoughts as we will be taking him to Kansas City Childrens Mercy for another surgery this month.

I am 22 and have only ovulated once in the past 6 months. My doctor doesn't believe me because my cycles fall 20 - 38 days apart, but varies greatly all the time. I take my bbt every morning and have not gotten above 97.5 (norm is 96.8-97.2).
We are trying to conceive a child and obviously not ovulating is really hindering our attempts. I am a little overweight but not obese. We walk our two toy dogs about an hour a day, not too strenuos.
What are some reasons I may not be ovulating and what are some remedies?

I had a doctor appointment when i was 34 weeks along ( im 35 now ) and my ob said that my baby had dropped and it shouldnt be too much longer. Also I have been measuring 3 weeks ahead of my due date. Since then i've been having alot of stomach cramps, back pains, braxton hicks and I think i lost my mucos plug, but im not sure. And Ive been having this horrible pain between my legs that feels like my baby is going to fall out of me!! For those of you who have had babies, do you think I will have mine soon? I am so ungodly uncomfortable and I dont know how much longer I can stand it.

How can I keep my 7 month old asleep for the night without wanting to wake up and play? He only takes one nap a day. So he does not have his days and nights mixed up. Ever since he started rolling over he is just all over the crib.

My 5 year old has a fever, and is congested. the fever under the arm was 102.5. I put him in the tub for about 5min. and gave him motrin and now have been rubbing a cool rag on his feet.(he doesn't want it anywhere else) and head. Any other suggestions?

One time, I was at Canadian tire. so anyway me and my friend were buying a sucker (75 cents) and He paid for his and I set mine in my pocket and, than he was like "Hurry Up" so I just walked out the door without realizing. The I went to reach into my pocket and i was like laughing and we started just to laugh about it so I ate it anyway lol.

I am 16.

I respect my daddy (my mom is gone, sadly), and maybe a few teachers and other adults, but most of my other teachers, some of my friend's parents, principal and vice principal I do not respect. They are mean, arrogant, buffoonish, child abusing (some of them) nitwits. I believe respect should be earned, and it's a two way street. I do not believe in respecting adults unless they earn it, but many adults think I should respect and obey them blindly.

Could I be pregnant? Got off the pill 2 months ago and have been trying to get pregnant since. Suppose to get period Feb 1, but haven't got it. Took a hpt, 2 lines showed, but one line was extremely light, you have to look very close to see it. It's the lightest shade of pink I have ever seen. Could it be detecting something, but still to early to show up 100%. I don't want to get me hopes up for nothing. Please only answer if you can help. I don't want rude comments. Thanks ;)

my dad is making this gross meat i hate meat, so i want pasta. i keep screaming and stuff but he won't give in like he normally does. how can i get him to make me pasta, should i scream louder or something. i really want some pasta rite now but hes not giving in, wat should i do.
