there is no set age. eighteen is when you are legal but alot of teenagers are having sex due to lack of parental guidance and peer pressure. I too gave in to peer pressure. Sure wish i hadn't!

having sex isnt a question about age, nor is it a result of lack of parental guidance/attention. If you feel you are ready then you need to talk to someone and take responsible actions to make sure you reduce the chances of pregancy and stds. Sex is a responsible and mature choice and if you cant be responsible enough to talk to an adult than you arent ready. I made the mistake of thinking i was old enough at 13 to have sex and that got me nowhere, my trust was violated. You just have to also make sure you REALLY know and TRUST who you get that intimate with.

You should wait to have sex until you meet a man that knows what respect is. That understands that sex isn't the most important thing in a relationship. You should wait until you can afford a child b/c there is always the chance of pregnancy. Sex is very emotional and until you really know yourself, you should be patient

i would say 18 cuz at the age you think different and see life different and you really know what you want and yoUr doing and if you end up doing something stupid ur old enough to know better so just wait for the right person don't end up making a mistake That you might regret for th rest of Ur life god luck and take care.....

Yeah, I've noticed that too. It is actually starting to get annoying. Anyways, the right time to have sex is when you've met someone who you really love deeply, and that the person you love loves you back. I don't think 13 year olds meet the person of their dreams.

the right time to have sex is after you have met the right person, someone who you could potentially marry. so if you are 13 i don't think that you know who you want to marry. good luck with waiting i made it all the way to age 21 before having sex, and we ended up getting married!

I say 17 or 18. depending on maturity and seriousness of relationship. It should just happen. not be bullied or pressured. But make sure you have condoms. And birth control.

There is no "right" age to have sex. A person has to be mature enough to handle adult consequences like pregnancy and STD's.
