Yes, I would think it might be from water retention. Hope you deliver soon and feel better. Best wishes

sounds more like water retention? or carpal tunnel? the joints in my fingers and hands did hurt more toward the end... I do not remember though having any one place I could say did not hurt? I do remember my dr. making me laugh when he caught me off guard... he asked "so what does not hurt this week?" I was ready to answer what hurt.... and then had to think... my big toe.... my nose? my hair? it took my mind off for a few minutes of what did hurt.... lol... he said that is good.. not time yet... still do not get the joke.... oh well
putting them up and not typing? compress? I have wrist/hand splints for mine still... might want to try them?
it may be that you are having this issue because of water, overuse, and it is brought on because of pregnancy issues....? but it could be a problem you always had and never noticed
good luck
sorry about the pain/discomfort... the splints and compresses and really not moving them at all? it helps some...

Yes, your joints are loose b/c of the hormone Relaxin. Since you are about ready to deliver, these hormone levels are at their peak.

Sounds more serious.
should not happen by being pregnant and overdue.
See a dr.
If you experience swelling you need to be expediant about getting it looked at.
