That is a fascinating question but I believe the answer would be no. The babies would bear a family resemblance to each other, but they would not be identical. During the process of meiosis, during which sperm and eggs are created, there is a phenomenon called crossing over wherein the DNA gets jumbled up a bit. So, the eggs that twin girl A makes are a little bit different from the eggs that twin girl B makes. And the sperm that twin boy A makes are a little different than those made by twin Boy B. So the babies of these couples will have a different genetic makeup.

Also, consider this. Unless you have a twin, you don't look like your brothers and sisters. This, too, is due to the phenomenon of crossing over. So, if a single couple can't make non-twin children that look exactly alike, it's even less likely that two couples, even if they're made up of twins, could produce two non-twin children that look exactly alike.

There is a very good possibility but they will also carry on traits and characteristics from their parents as well, so it is not definitive that their offspring would look alike. Sometimes there are carrier genes that don't display themselves, like in the sets of twins, but could be passed on to their children.

Maybe hahaha..but i doubt it will look exactly the same.It wont be such coincidence that the chromosomes carrying the DNA is exactly the same for both couples.Maybe one might have the big eyes inherited from the mother(couple 1 ) and the other small eyes from the father(couple 2)

They wouldn't look the SAME, but they would most likely look much more SIMILAR than any other cousins.

The reasons they wouldn't look the same, is because we all carry a lot more genetic traits than you can see outwardly. So when the twins have kids, the kids might not even have certain traits their parents have.

For example, both of my parents have brown eyes, but I have green eyes. :) That's because they both carried a recessive gene for light eyes, despite being dark-eyed themselves. That's just one of many examples that could come into play.

No more so than any other regular brother or sister. I believe that they would genetically be considered close enough to be siblings. Since not all siblings look alike, neither will these cousins, although they will likely have a VERY strong close family resemblance.

No... it's not likely. You see, genes are passed down from generation to generation. It'll all depend on what the other parent's like, and, heck, the baby could be like old grandpa Charlie, with the recessive genes dominating again.

If all the twins were identical...........
Maybe.
Sometimes babies look more like grandparetns. OR, one baby could look like the mom(s) and one baby could look like the dad(s).
I guess it all depends...........I look amazinlgy like my cousin....(we both look like our grandmother) and there are NO twins involved.

not necessarily, but i am sure they'd resemble. Maybe as much as regular siblings would, but i think that's a pretty interesting question. You get a star! :)
