When children take interest in something it becomes an opportunity for you to teach them something.
Why not get it and teach him music and culture.

well why shouldn't you? convice us? well if you have no regard for your child to be educated and cultured by all means don't get it for him! but i don't see why you shouldn't. maybe you would get more opinionated reasonable answers if you gave more detail, how old is he? how did he learn of it? etc!
