Take her to the mall playplace.
If the other kids don't motivate her then worry.

It could be a very small hairline fracture in the bone, which is VERY painful. Depending on how she hurt her foot, she may just be afraid. My son had a hairline fracture in his elbow and screamed everytime someone touched his arm, how he received it was by his older brother "swinging" him around in circles.

The doctor said time would heal, not much they can do, but sometimes they hurt more than a normal break would.
Good Luck!

Based on your child's age, she is probably just fearful of the pain she felt before and might have a little tenderness. My dtr sprained her ankle at age 1 1/2 and it took her a while to get her confidence back. In other words, it might be psychological, but of course, have the specialist take a look. Just be patient.

you might wont to teach your two year old that her foot isn't really hurt because some kids do that because they see other people doing that and they copy what they see. So your child may think they are SUPPOSE to do that but you might want to show her that she is ok.

Most likely it is the memory of it hurting. While you should not bribe children to do things, in this case do offer her favorite treat and make her walk to it. If she crawls to it do not let her have it.

it could be a attention behavior because of the attention she got when it happened but if that's not the case maybe there is a small fracture they can't see on the x-ray.
