They have hpts at the dollar store for $1. Whats the difference between thoses and the ones that cost $9 or $10?

Hi my daughter is 1 yr. and 3 mo.old and she seems to be very smart. People are always surprise about how smart she is for her age. Even though she was late in the walking part and in the teething she started asking for milk when she was 7 months and I am not lying. She says lets eat when shes hungry, she says night night when she's sleepy, she repeats everything you say no matter if you say it once and she doesn't forget, she knows what and where are her eyes, nose, hair, hands, feet, ears, etc. When she's getting dress she ask if we are leaving, she also ask for a bath, and when you sing the itsy bitsy spider song she puts her fingers together to do the mimic of the song, and she does so much more that you can't imagine. For me it seems normal but all my friends say that she is too smart, she even brings the diaper to the trash can after I change her. Are they exagerating or is she really that smart.

i am pregnant and i was told that i have a dog with rabies she scratches me all the time could i get it or anything. sometimes it brings blood to the surface. i am worried. I need as much info as i can get. for me and the dog. i still love the dog though. Help me!!

My mom's been depressed lately, and it's been bringing me down that for the past few months I have gotten almost no sleep and by the end of the school day, I feel like I'm gonna drop. I've been stressed and cranky lately because of it, and today she just offered me to skip tomorrow's school day. I really really want to, but there's just something that is making me hesitant to skip tomorrow's school day. I have no tests or anything that I'll miss, but I'm just wondering what you guys think. I haven't been absent once this year, but like I said- I'm hesitant.

What should I do? Should I accept it and sleep in all day, or show up to school as always?

Note: I'm thirteen...

I am 18 and I live with my mom, Under the circumstances i don't have a choice. But she thinks she is my childs mother not her grandmother and she over runs me before i can do anything. She is also a very sensitive over dramatic person. I do not wish to disclose why I can not move out but I can not at least for a few more monthes how do i handle my over bearing mother.

had banged his head on tuesday at nursery and was sick a couple of times that night and next day he has had a temp of 39.6 (103.2) its been going up and down and i had him at the doctors they said to keep giving him calpol (tylanol) to bring it down and over the lat 12 hrs ive been doing that but his temp isnt coming down and im unsure what to do

hi im 17 and my parents are control freaks!!! They want me to get a job and nag me about it countless times, yet at the same time they govern when i can and cannot sleep and take naps even when i am physically fatigued. They tell me that i cannot watch tv after 10 and my mother must watch with me the tv show for her approval. I have a car that my grandmother purchased for me and they will not let me use it to my benefit they feel they are in need of it more, meanwhile i have paid for many of the repairs on the car. They are always looking for ways to ground me from the car so they can use it, I may even get grounded for posting this when they read it. My mother considers me an adult when she wants something done yet i am a child when she wants me to be a robot and do what they instruct me to do. Is this all contradicting to their beliefs? They bestow on me a great deal of emotional distress. What shall i do? (Keep in mind I will ask them to read your responses)

I took tributalin due to preterm labor. When he was born he had two apneic episodes and difficulties with feedings. Now he is fine though but I saw something on t.v that this medicine can cause later heart problems in children is this true???

my daughter is 2 1/2. she goes to daycare. Last night before she went to bed, she went potty. She stood in front of the toilet saying " i want to pee like this mom" and she was standing up like boys do. i asked her who does that and she say a little boys name at daycare. i'm a single mom so she don't see no boys pee at home. I asked the daycare this morning without telling them who she seen. and they told me who she seen. They said when they got her up from nap time she seen him. Its a home daycare. so they all share 1 bathroom. the kids are suppose to wait around the corner til the other one is finished. They said not to make a big deal about it. i think they should be supervising while the kids are using the restroom. Especially since they share. The ages at this daycare are from 0-5. What do you think?

Well i was supposed to start my period yesterday, and i did. well it was really light, and my periods are never light. They normally last 3 - 4 days. Now im not bleeding at all, and its only been a day! Its like my period only lasted like 12 hours..is that normal? Someone had told me that i might be pregnant. Is that true? Please help me! Thanks

ok heres my question me and my boyfriend are tryin to have a baby and everytime we have sex he cums in me hoping i get pregnant but everytime that happens it always ends up with i dont start my period for like a month or so and sometimes im like 2 weeks llate and i start but before i start my period i get cramps for like weeks and weeks before. and finally i start . nd im not pregnant but sometimes i get a bunch of symthoms before but i end up not being pregnant and im not stressing or nothin .

I usually get together with my girlfriend and her 3 kids once a week for a play date (I have 1 kid). Since September (and the birth of her 3rd, all under the age of 3 1/2), she has brought her sick kids to my house without telling me they are sick. This week was our turn to go to her house. When we got there, it was clear that all 3 kids were sick (nasty noses, hacking coughs). I have told her in the past that my kid gets sick easily (not really true) and that we can't play when the kids are sick. Well, my kid came down with a cold 2 days after playing at her house.

I don't want to ruin our friendship, but I need to put my son's best interests first. How do I address this with her AGAIN without completely avoiding her every week?

my doctor got a heart beat of 180 beats a minute. and he says i am about 6 to 7 weeks along. the baby is ok. and i am not about to miscary. thanks for the kind words and advice to my previous question. now i havent had a period since 10/07/06 and i am only 6 to 7 weeks. how many here have gotten pregnant 9 weeks after their last period?that is what happened to me and i am curios as to how many have done this to.
