I got my girlfriend pregnant, i dont want the kid, what should i do?

I'm in highschool so i dont want a kid. should i persuade her to do abortion?

I am far from 18 and do not have an income

I don't think you should really persuade her to get an abortion. My advice is to just get a job and at least try to help her out. Just being there for her and the baby is more important than the money you have and will mean a lot to her if you at least stick around which most men/boys don't do these days. Also, I would suggest going and looking up pictures of aborted babies...it's a really sad thing. I'm all for pro-choice, but they are sad in more ways than one. I wouldn't want people lecturing me if it was me in your shoes.

I am a father and was a young father so let me give my 2 cents. Do not let the women in here tell you to keep it in your pants. It takes 2 she could have been the one taking it out of your pants. You should have taken more responsibility if you did not want to have a kid, but too late now.

Do not persuade anyone to have an abortion, it will be a big mistake. Just tell her you will support her on any decision she makes.

Step up and become a father. It gave me new motivation to be a better person all together because you have a new title ..............DAD. You will have to make it work as far as getting the money to take care of your kid. It can be done!

I pay child support but I beleive my kid saved my life because I was headed to prison until I had someone to stay free for.

I do not see how no one can not want their own children. I guess it is beyond me. You have mental problems.

F the money its all about spending time with your kid someone that needs their father and will look up to you as a god because bottom line you help create them. Child support is a lot less expensive than a Divorce so it could be worse.

If she does not want one there is nothing you can do. You had sex with her. Suck it up if she wants the child. It is her choice in the end. She did not just have sex with you. It takes two and if she does not want an abortion do not make her. It is your responsibility as well. If she does not want an abortion and you still want to stay in the relationship then it can definitely destroy that relationship. Ask her what she wants to do but do not put her in that position that if she does not get an abortion you will leave her. If she does not want and abortion you can bet it will be you not the child out of her life because you made her do something she did not want to do. Now is a time to be a man. Please stay in school, get a job and help support the child you created with her. You can talk to her about it, but do not make her feel like it you or her baby. Take a little responsibility for your actions.

All I can say is it is HER body and although you did help her make it and your opinion matters, too, SHE is the one that will be going through it physically and, therefore, if you chose to not support her whether you keep the baby or not she will have to live with either decision for the rest of her life. I was in a similar situation when I was a little younger, but you live and you learn and one day you have to grow up and realize that this is the REAL world and there ARE consequences and rewards for everything you do. Definitely not! If she wants the child that is her right. You need to just be a man and come to terms that your having a baby. Step up and be a father. Even if you don't have all the money in the world the government will help you out. My boyfriend got his ex pregnant when he was 16 and was a daddy at 17. It's hard, but not impossible to handle. If your not ready to have more children think about this before you lay down with a woman/girl. Don't have sex if your not old enough to raise a child and if you must- use protection. Don't pin this all on her. You slept with her.

Step three: Get a reality check
Step Four: Step up and be a man. You wanted to have sex, now deal with the reprocusions.

You need to talk to her about all the options, abortion, adoption, etc. I agree that both of you are too young. However, you cannot convince her to do what you want, cause she'll do the opposite---that's what teenagers do, they rebel.

If she insists on having the child, well, you could just leave the country. Go live in Canada or something.

I don't think it's fair that the man has to pay child support if he doesn't want the child from the very beginning. The woman has an out (abortion, adoption, etc), but the man doesn't.

However, that's the law.

Too bad you can't go back in time and think things through before you ruined some lives.

You need to grow up right now and be there for her whatever she decides instead of thinking about how to spare yourself an inconvenience! And in the future, do not have sex with anyone you are not interested with making a baby with. No matter how much protection you use, there is always the chance of this happening.

No!!! whats wrong with you boys...U have 2 choices,,,wear a condom (which is now to late obviously) or persuade her to keep the baby and give it up for adoption which is 100% FREE,,wait one more option, keep the baby,finish school and become a grown man (a daddy)..u arent too young to have a kid..i know girls that were 13 when they had babies,15,16 and 17...now im not saying its ok to have babies this early but instead of putting this girls life on the line and killing your baby,the seed that came from you is wrong!!
