I am almost (gulp) 30. I'm excited about it and love to look at baby websites and have started taking vitamins, but keep putting off scheduling my preconception exam. I want to but I'm scared. I'm scared to really take that step. Does this mean I'm not ready?

When did it first appear? My daughter is almost six months and has allergies. My dad had infantile asthma that disappeared after allergy shots, my husband had it pretty severe and it went away after dietery changes ten years ago. Sometimes she does this wierd thing where she almost seems like she is hyperventilating...she has only done it a few times. Twice after crying hysterically and once the other day when there was a very cold wind chill.

Ive seen this ? asked a couple of times but they were cases where the father abandoned or didnt sign the birth cert.

My childs father is my boyfriend. we are on wonderful terms. he will be at the birth. im sure he will sign the birth certificate. I dont need to get married yet and i want my child to have MY last name for the time being. will there be a problem? or must the baby have his last name if he signs the birth cert?

other reasons : my family has 1 boy (in the miltary scary!) and his family has 4

my mate hates his father and so do i. he has even considered changing his last name to his mothers but decided it would be too much trouble at this point in his life. i dont want my child to carry on a legacy that disgusts me.

My boyfriend is still deciding on the subject but regarless of what he thinks, i want my child to have my last name. need info

I don't know if this is weird or what. But right now I am 18 and have been with my boyfriend for 3 1/2 years. And right now I am going through a lot. I am always feeling down because I want to start a family. I always feel like there is something missing. I wanting to have a kid and I just feel alone. And that everyone is getting married and pregnant. Though my boyfriend doesn't want to have kids in tell we are financially set. I just don't know what to do. Because I feel alone and there is something missing. I just keep thinking it is a phase that is going to pass but it never does. or it does and it comes back. I just wanted to know if anyone could help. Thanks

He is 4 years old, and he is fully potty trained during the day, even at naps when he rarely takes them. The problem is at night. I have purchased the plastic bed sheet to put under his sheets, and I put a pull up on him at night. I stop his drinking of liquids at 8 pm, and he's in the bed by 9:30. Almost every other morning he wakes up with wet sheets. I have talked to his Pediatrician about this, and they said just keep working with him, but I don't know what to do!! He's a very smart little boy, he'll wet his bed, get up, take his sheets off, put them in the laundry room, then come & tell me. I don't fuss at him, I just tell him next time to please go to the Potty, and he says okay, but he never does. Any suggestions anyone?? Pull ups are expensive, washing sheets almost everyday is tiring, but mostly, I'd just like to see him get past this. Any help but be appreciated. Thanks!

This woman doesn't have a reason to lie, but she told me that's what her doctor told her. Why all of a sudden is it 10 months, when all these years I've been told 9 months.

Alright, so here's the deal:

I'm 15, and involved in my schools NJROTC unit. In March we're having a Military Ball. The guy I'm thinking of taking is currently 19 and a PFC in the Marines. We've been friends for a while, but could go further. The thing is, my 1st sgt will flip out because of the age difference. I know, "Mind his own business." but, I'm still going to get a speech about it.

Any advice? Should I still go with him? Should I not? Is the age difference too much?
