Boy the do gooders are at it again. Trying to make a law in Calif that you can't spank your kid if they 4 or undetr. Yeah, if that kid touchs a hot stove and gets burned, let em do it again. It's just more proof that Calif should be kicked out of the U.S. A bunch of sillys who don't know a d***n thing about common sense. I quote the Bible, spare the rod, spoil the child. And a lot of that is going around these days.

Ok I know alot of people might have stupid comments for this question. So if you do keep them to urselves. I have a few hours to take the Plan B. I really really don't want to take it. But I don't know if I'm ready for a baby. I'm 17 years old. I would struggle, even with a supportive baby's daddy. I'm definitely going to college no matter what. I can't decide whether to take the pill or not. Dammit I don't know what to do.

Right i had my last monthly period on the 3rd of january, and was supposed to be ovulating 16th and 17th of january according to my monthly cycles.com, but i think i ovulated alot earlier due to chnges in my CM and pains in my lower tummy so i chose to have sex then when i though i was ovulating but this was only about 10 or 11 days after my last period....can anyone ovulate earlier than 14-16 days after a period?

i also had sex last night and have read that women can fall pregnant nearer to there next period is this true? my next period is due on the 31st of january so its just over a week till i am due.

please help and tell me what you think, has anyone else fallen pregnant before the 14-16 days of ovulation or fallen pregnant a week or so before there next period.

sorry for all the questions, i just though that there may be some women out there that can help me.

i have been havin movement in my stomach,but im not sure what i could be. it feels like kickin and movement. it dont just be in one spot. i thought i was pregnant but i came on my period and they say its not possible to be pregnant and still have a period.... i was 6 months pregnant. my pernats dosnt know and my boyfriend does know now. i have not been to a doctor. im only 15 fin to be 16 any advice??????

My grandson is 18 days old. He cries unless he is being held. At 18 days he is way to young to just let cry, and suggestions? We have tried swaddeling him, putting him in a swing, a cradle, and a bouncie seat. We've rolled blankets up around him, so far nothing has worked. Please any ideas welcome.

i am 10 weeks pregnant and i have no appetite, i have had an abortion within 4 months, but i told myself if i get pregnant again i would keep my child. i have not gained any weight and i am experience minor cramps, and the other day i used the bathroom to discover light brown dischage or blood, i am not sure how to check for the babies heart beat on my own, could this be a possible miscarriage or the baby has possible birth defects?

My son will be 3 March 1. He is going thru what I hope is a phase. If he gets in trouble he spits -- if he gets really mad he spits a lot. If you pick him up he spits on you. If he goes in time out he spits there. Etc. It is gross, plus he was vomiting earlier this week, then spitting in my face. Gross. I am not sure if ignoring it is the best, or him getting in trouble for it when he is already in trouble.

He is very hard headed, wants what he wants, when he wants it. Doesn't get it, but doesn't learn just gets mad. Then spits -- or throws himself around shouting "I don't like you".

I try hard to spend quality time with him, hold him a lot, snuggle, read.....etc. I work part time, but have a LOT of time with him -- and right now I am just going crazy with him.

It is frustrating. Suggestions??

Are clear, stretchy CM and fern-like patterns on a saliva ovulation kit definite signs of ovulation?

I've been TTC for about 12 months now with no success. My cycle is anything from 28-33 days and I am now on 14DPO but with a BFN on a pregnancy test this morning (although it was a bit weird - instead of a 2nd horizontal line that should appear if positive I got a faint, long vertical line that ran through the length of the results window. I still took it as negative but any thoughts on this?). My last cycle was weird - only 20 days and upto June 2006 they were very long - around 40 days or more. But they seemed to have regularised themselves to around 30-33 days (except for last month's extra short cycle, but I was under a lot of stress). I have always experienced the so called signs of ovulation but it seems to be so hard for me to conceive. Getting so frustrated. PLEASE help, only serious answers please. Thanks.

I'm trying to teach my 11 month old to drink on their own and someone suggested using a cup with a straw in it, but how can I teach him to suck the straw? Previously I have just been using a cup with a spout for him to drink water from, so he thinks it will just pour in his mouth. Should I give up and just go back to the spout until his older and then retry a straw??

Every day he gets:

- 20-25 oz of formula/rice cereal mix (he has gerd)

- 2 jars of stage 2 babyfood (1 for lunch, 1 for dinner)

- and sometime maybe an ox of juice. he doesn't get much because i only give it to him in his suppy cup, and he's not into his sippy cup that much yet.

- and the occasional cookie

I feel like I am either giving him too much formula or too much babyfood. What else could he have?

My baby girl is quite a fast learner who can differentiate me from others at 2.5months,by 3-4mths she can imitate kissing sounds & when i ask her to show her daddy, she did then when i asked her to smile to me or others,she'll oblige & by close to 5mths she can imitate my slang "Ola Looi" & yesterday she shocked us when her daddy called her "Darling girl" & she replied within the next few seconds... "Darling girl" in the cutest way & giggles after that.
Both me & her dad stares at each other in blank asking is it her?
Yes! we're sure it's her as both of us were just infront of her but yesterday she was just 5mths 3weeks old... I was wondering if there's any way or educational materials to explore the full potiential of a coming 6 months baby... But i only knew that she luv music & luv to talk...very active baby.

My son will be turning 1 on feb 3 and i have never thrown a big party before. The place i rented has a kitchen but i am not sure what kind of foods/appetizers to make. I want stuff that both kids and grown ups will like. i would really appreciate any suggestions.

Everyone that sees him tell me how big he is it was funny at first but now im beging to think something is wrong I dont feed him alot prob about 5 8oz bottels a day and 3 jars of food! Im only 5'1 and my husband 5'6 different doc say diff things i have heard it all some say he is over weight some say he is a healty baby boy and keep doing what your doing! Any advice?

me and my fiance have still be trying and yet again we may have failed. we had sex on the 12,13, and 14th of this month. he did what he had to do on the 14th i thought it was the day i ovulated but now i find out i was gonna ovulate on the 22nd. is is possible to still become pregnant. is it possible i may have ovulated earlier then the 22nd. Ive been having some cramping, lil nausea, alot of headache, dizzyness. Also when i sleep i usually sleep on my stomach, but now when i it hurt so much but when i roll over to my side or back it stops. Ive also have had alot of dischage and when i wake up i have a feeling like i do when ever i get my period. the wet kind of feel, but when i check theres nothing there. i dont start my next period till the 9th (thats what my monthly says). could this be symptoms of ovulation or pregnancy - thanks Kayla
