I would hold off. My pediatrician is a very "liberal doctor" (meaning that she starts solids at 4 months and lifts most feeding restrictions at 9 months) and she said to wait until 9 months. She does not want my baby off formula until she is a year old, but between now and then I am to s-l-o-w-l-y increase her whole milk as we decrease formula. she also wanted it watered down at first. 50/50 the first week and 75/25 for the next week.
My baby is 9 months and 3 weeks. she gets three 8oz bottles of formula per day 2 snacks and before bed) and gets watered down whole milk from a sippy with one of her meals. usually dinner.

That's not a good idea. Their little tummys can't take cows milk at such a young age. It's best to try a give her milk after she is 1 yr old. I gave my son Milk when he was 9 months and my Dr had a fit! He said he could have problems in the future with his tummy too if I continued.
Good luck ;-)

NO. They are to be on the formula milk to help with thier growth as it still quite a important age. Ful fat milk can be used until the age of two then if u choose u can change her onto low fat milk.

Dont give a baby anything but formula and/or breastmilk (along baby food) until 12 month of age!! Not even soy milk ... their digestive tract cant handle it yet.. you could cause problems in their digestion and risk your child to develop an allergy to it as well

My infant did the "twisting" concern for a rapid time. i think of it particularly is in simple terms them experimenting with their newfound approaches for shifting their physique. They detect that their wrists can turn and that they are able to manage products. My daughter would be 10 months this weekend and now no longer does this. Her new concern is she sticks her tongue way out while she says "mama" and "dada" and while she babbles. i'm particular it particularly is going to final a rapid time then she'll be directly to a minimum of something else! i'm no longer able to help with the hair pulling, yet i understand while my brother-in-regulation became a infant he had to be rubbing the nook of fabrics with a view to experience soothed. He nonetheless does it right this moment interior the evenings and he's in his mid-1930s! perhaps she'll be a hair twirler as she grows up? i would not problem approximately it lots if her progression is in any different case generic, yet perhaps point out it at her next healthcare expert's appt.

It is best to wait until1 year of age, babies have trouble breaking down cow's milk and it doesn't contain enough nutrient for an 8 month old.

well most parents ease their child onto whole milk we've always mixed a little bit of whole milk with their formmula to get them use to it but i would ask my doctor first to just be sure that it's ok with your child some might say yes and some might say no just ask your doctor they'll know more about your child than anyone on here will.

All it might do is give her stomach aches and gas. You might want to wait for a couple of months yet. 8 months might be a little early.
