Till her first missed period, She should go to a doctor after the test is positive just to confirm it, so you don't give your mother a heart attack. You can go to the local health clinic and they will retest for free.

Well first off you got to take a pregnancy test like about 5+ days after she had sex. And then if she is pregnant if she won't take responsability to tell her mom you shou;d because if she feel's she's grown up enough to have sex and she's not 18 then she's not grown up enough to have sex or take care of a baby. Period. No if's and's or but's ok.

Well dear,why dont you ask her to take a home pregnancy test??Just the matter of few min and u will know for sure.U just have to walk into a drug house n ask them for a pregnancy test,it wont even cost u much..

first- if she swallowed "it" being sperm she can not get pregnant. she can however get a nasty disease. you and your sister need to get some sex education.
2- your sister doesn't sound old enough to be having any form of sex.
I think you should both speak to your mother or another trusted adult. get some smart answers and perhaps some help. I hope your sister is not being pressured into having sex. and that's why I think your mother need to know. that way your sister can get some help.

It can take 24hours to a week depending on when she was ovulating, I would take her to planned parenthood so they can give her a PT and give her information on teen pregnancy or birthcontrol options depending on what the situations turnes out to be.
