am 20wks pregnant live apart from partner(though tryin to find a house together) i am really depressed all the time. we both work odd shifts and barely get to see each other. on his days off he just wants to relax and doesnt want to get together.cant go to his house as me and his family had a major falling out. all i do is cry and nothing makes me happy any more.sometimes feel like giving up. he says im putting too much pressure on him and im being selfish. dont know what to do.help

If I was to be pregnant, I have some questions about it. I'm only 16 so that might factor in a little.

--Can I choose who gets to be in the delivery room with me?
I don't want my mom or dad in there. I just want it to be my bofriend(the babies daddy).

--Can I choose the babies last name?
Like I want to know if *I* can choose whose last name the babies has. And if my parents will have *any* say in it what-so-ever.

No seriously I have a question. I havent had my period yet. But then again my periods are all messed up. My boobs have been sore now for 9 days. I have crampted and everything but still no period. I took a pregnancy test three days ago. And it was negative. It was the one that was a cup and you peeded in it and waited for the result. No mess to have to worry about like the regular stick. My belly botton also hurts. I have been feeling nauseated but I won't get sick. Should I wait some more or should I go on a head and take another one today. Please help.

I was more than 5 days late so I done a test 4th Jan, positive, done one on fri 5th first thing to make sure, also positive, im excited and so is my partner my nan has even bought us baby clothes and everyones took it really well. (1st pregnancy) but i keep wondering, Am I really pregnant? could the tests have been wrong? Its madness!! Got my midwife appointment 22nd January, to get some blood taken, and I keep thinking, what if the results are negative! Im totally paranoid! Am I pregnant? Its crazy!

I have 28 day cycle. Ovulation Predictor Kit positive on 12/29- so ovulation should have happened within next 24-36 hours. Period was due friday 1/12, still nothing- 2 days late. Home pregnancy tests are negative.... one site said LH surge like shown on Ovulation Predictor Test could mean pregnant.... I still had one from kit, took it this morning and came up Definately positive? Could I be pregnant??? Anyone have any experience with this??? Thanks. Oh yeah, and if I am pregnant- would low #'s of HcG be reason for concern??? I wish the doctors office was open today. So many questions.... thanks.

I'm 20yrs old and I've been thinking of having a baby (I'm married). Most people would call me crazy b/c of my age, but I love kids. I have a 3yr old sister that I basiclly raised and now I just want a baby of my own. Am I to young? Why?

I recently baptised my daugther anglican, as my fiance and I are both anglican, and my friend is mad that I did that. She said it should be up to my child when they get older to make that decision and I should of waited. I try to tell her that we, as parents make decisions for our children, I mean we don't wait till they are old enough to ask them what elementary school they want to attend, and when she gets older she can choose to either attend church or not. I will not push that on her. I just feel its my decision to baptise her, invite her into gods hands, and my friend harps about it all the time. I avoid talking to her now, but shes an important part of my life, and I don't want this to ruin our friendship. She has no children, and this is what she will do when she does, let her child be baptised later if they want. I tell her its my choose and she won't let go of it. What can I do??

Should I count light flow that could possibly be implatation bleeding as a period? I am 20 yrs old, no prior pregnancies. No known problems other than a retro inverted uterus. As far as my husband goes, we dont know of any problems with him. I should have ovulated on Nov 30, and had unprotected sex ( we're trying)! I should have started on December 14th and didn't, but on December 24 I had a light redish brown flow, which only lasted 3 - 4 days.. I took 3 pregnancy test, one when I was first late, one a week later, and one on December 24, all neg. My question is, should I count the flow on the 24th as a period? As of right now I am not experiencing any kind of period syptoms other than tiredness. I am wondering so I know if I miss this period too? If I dont count the flow on the 24 and count the 14th as if I had started, that means I should have started the 8th, which as of right now would make me 5 days late. If not and I count the 24 as a perriod, I shouldn't start until the 22nd.

My mom said it is crazy if anyone goes over a year without being potty trained because you teach your kids to be lazy and play with their toys instead of getting up to go to the bathroom. My mom said I was and my brother, both potty trained by age 1. Everyone I ask says 2 or 3. When was your child potty trained by and is it possible to do it in a year like my mom says? Thanks

my 9 year old daughter has an attitude of a 17 year old. everyime she is ask to do something that she dont want to, its all out war. it mainly occurs when it has something to do with cleaning. ( her room helping me do the rest of the house. i am having some medical trouble where i cant lift a laundry basket and carry down stairs so if my husband isnt her i ask her and it used to be fine i hardly ask that of her. she knows she has to have responsiblities but she defies them terribly. and now my 7 year old is following in older sisters footsteps.

Last night I was woken up by this horrible pain in my lower back and it was spreading all the way to my belly. It lasted for about 5 mins then stopped. I felt it on the other side this morning but it was a lighter pain. I haven't felt anything since. I called my dr and she's doing a c-section, will return my call asap. Where they contractions? has this happened to anyone? I'm desperate right now, I'm feeling miserable!! what can I do to help mother nature a bit? Thanks!

I started my period on August 14. It lasted a regular 5 days. During my week of my period I took my ortho evra patch off ( of course).

I ran out of patches and had a doctr appt to pick up more the 1st week of sept. When I went in I told my doctor that I had unprotected sex and wasn't on birth control between the week that I couldnt get to the dctr. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. So before I left I even picked up Plan B and took the pills the same day.

I knew that the Plan B would delay my period by a week. So when I should have gotten it I knew I wasn't and would get it the following week. ell at the end of the following week I still had not gotten my period. I took a pregnanency test and it came back positive.

My dct. said I was impregnanted around the 28th of aug. How could I haev a false preg. test and act. be preg.?

I have been slowly trying to introduce the potty for a few months because my son HATES getting his diapers changed! he fights, does what i call the "crocodile death roll", he kicks me, and bawls the whole time. I have tried EVERYTHING! I tell him when we are going to change his diaper and why and that its no big deal. He just runs a screams and hides. I try bribes of money, candy, and i even made a sticker chart for when he does good things (like pick up toys, eat all his dinner, use the potty ect.). he really loves the chart but he just doesnt want to use the potty.
How can i make changing time easier or get my son to want to use the potty?

My fiances father and his wife don't visit our new baby girl very often. They have seen her three times and she is 4 months old now. When they came for xmas I made a comment to them, saying heres your granddaughter, shes changed lots since your last visit, but they didn't seem to take note of my point. They shower her with gifts when they do come but I would rather they visit more often then just come once in a while with gifts. They visit the wifes grandchildren all the time, even travel to visit one of them. How can I make them realize they need to see this one too. Its a hassel to get to their place cause its a 3 hour trip on transporation and a lot of transfering from one to the other and with a baby its a lot of luggage we have to take, so its easier for them to come here. We have done our share in visiting them though but they make no attempt to come here, am I being selfish?

I took both my son and my daughter to the doctors. They both had a nasty cough and runny nose (and daughter had a fever of 103.2). The doctor gave some cough medicine to help them sleep at night said it was a virus infection most likely. Well, my daughter is still sick, her throat hurts and her clear runny nose turned into green/bloodish and her cough is still really bad. I took them Thursday. And is now Sunday...do you think she should go back? I would call them today but since it is Sunday they are closed :(

I'm going back to work soon, and am needing to wean from breast feeding, and will have to do so completely. My son is almost a year old and also seems to be weaning himself. My question to breast feeding mothers is : What was the last feed that you cut out between the morning and the bedtime feed ? I have succesfully cut out the day breast feeds, but don't know which one to do next and last. Morning or bedtime? Which one did you do last and why did you pick that one? Thanks everyone.
