I'd like to use family names for my baby girl. My grandmother's (and my hero's) name was Alice Claire and she went by "Claire." My mom's side of the family has used "Marie" as a middle name for girls through five generations now. My cousin has beat me and has called her baby girl Claire so, what does everyone think about the name:

Alice Claire-Marie? Or maybe Alice Marie-Claire?

I am worried that the name "Alice" is too out of date, but I figure that nicknames of "Allie" or "Ally" would be nice.

What does everyone think??

I am not planning on getting pregnant for some time yet but I was wondering what causes the sickness feeling which those women have. What does the doctor prescribe to stop it?

i have received an appointment for my 12 weeks scan at 16 weeks! I think it's a long time to wait to find out for sure that you are pregnant (my GP does not do pregnancy tests)

Our son and his wife are expecting their first child this summer. Our sons birthday is a month away. I want to give him a Baby Bjorn Air Carrier as a birthday gift. My husband thinks thats "for the baby" and isn't a proper gift for the Dad-to-be as a birthday gift. I disagree and think it's more "for the Dad". Does a birthday gift really have to be all about "me me me"?

What do you think? Any suggestions for a gift? Son is 28, likes snowboarding and hiking.

my toddler doesn't like cow's milk and I have heard that goat milk is an acceptable substitution. What do you know about this?

First the doctor anaesthesized me,i screamed at my highest peak as it was very painful i tried resisting the doctors assistants but they were 15 of them 5 men on each of my legs who held my legs wide open and 5 on my upper body and my chest to hold me back.Since i was unconsolably crying and begging for it to stop the doctor decided to stuff my mouth with cotton before he removed my foreskin. Before they stuffed my mouth with cotton they made me drink some cold water. The doctor explained to my elders that during the surgery I will be fed with cold water because it helps to stop the bleeding. the doctor started cutting my foreskin i could not even scream now but no sooner did he cut my foreskin i became unconcious. Before i became unconcious i heard my elders telling the doctor to tie my hands and let the cotton be stuffed in my mouth even after the surgery was over.I have been given 15 stiches and it hurts like hell. Can you give me an email of a doctor who can help heal the wound plea?

Puberty starts at about 12 or 13. In the old days, people followed the teachings of the bible and saved sex until marriage, but with the rise of atheism, today's youths lose their virginity at young ages. The average age at which teens loose their virginity is 16, and a significant number of children aged 13 or so experience sex.

To prevent unwanted pregnancy or the spread of STDs, one of my friends who is a teacher believes that children should be taught early about how to use condoms. The reality is that almost all teenagers nowadays are highly sexual and this is the best way to protect them. My teacher friend plans to bring this issue up with the board of education, but at the moment we are having trouble deciding at what age the child should be exposed to condom education. Should they be taught as young as 10?

My wife is 18 weeks along and has had trouble putting on weight, nothing life threatening... just nausea and such. This past month I have been trying to majorly encourage her to eat well and more often. I think she has put on a few, BUT so have I... I have put on probably 10 or 12 pounds since she found out she was pregnant, 4 months ago. HELP!

I have a two month old baby who only sleeps about 2 or 3 hours at a time at night. The doctor said I could give her cereal, but that it won't make her sleep longer. Has it worked for anybody else?

I took a test about a week ago and waited the 5 mins that the test said to do, only one line popped up..... but about an hour later i look back at the test again (wishful thinking) and noticed a very faint line.... i have looked up on evaporation lines and have read that they are usually colourless or you cant see them at all, but the line on the test had a light red/moroon colour to it.

so i thought i would do another test came back negative, my mind was still not put to rest so i did another test after 48 hours and this one came up with another faint line.... i have since done another one to show my other half and it came back negative.

How can i really tell if theses are real positive lines or not has anyone else had this?
