I would actually go to the doctors or family planning clinic because they will do a test there for you that may be more accurate and you can explain to them the tests you have already taken!

The Longer You Leave A Pregnancy Test After You Have Peed On It, The More The Ink Runs, So Another Faint Line Would Show Up, But Only Because The Ink Had Run, And Not Because It Was A Positive Result

I had this happen to me just 5 months ago. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. I felt that the test was wrong just because of the way that I was feeling. I took another test the next morning and that was also negative. I decided to take another one 3 days later and the line was very faint almost non existent. I took the other one that came in the box the next morning and that one came back the same way very faint. I was confused and aggravated so I went and bought a digital test so there wouldn't be any doubt. I took the digital test and it said that I was indeed pregnant. If your still doubting yourself go and buy a digital test because it is worth it. You can take it and know for sure. Good luck to you.

The pregnancy tests that we use say in the instructions that if you leave them sit for longer than the appropriate time you will eventually see a light positive line. That does not mean anything.
If I were you I would call the doctor and have a blood test if possible. Many doctors require a blood test as positive proof of pregnancy anyway.
You do not say how late you are or when the date of your last mp was so it is a bit hard to tell if you are testing too soon or not.
I would either wait a bit longer or try to have a blood test.
If you do decide to purchase another urine test, buy one of those that comes with two tests in the kit.
Good luck!

Most tests will tell you to disregard any result after 10 mins....so whatever appears after that time is not likely to be accurate. It normally states this on the box. I think if we are trying for a baby though..we have all done this at some point (I have for one) it is usually just wishful thinking unfortunately. The whole evaporation line thing is causing a big debate because as you can see from your answers most women will argue that you can see them!! Goodluck to you!!

ive had fake faint ++++ too you should really keep to the time limits its says or within say 10 mins but the most accurate is a blood test to check the hcg levels
otherwise i find that clearblue tests are the best and most sensitive never had fake positves with these only fake positives with the cheap makes
good luck with the baby making

After 10 mins or more a faint line will appear despite a negative. That's why the instructions tell you to disregard after 10 mins. Every negative result I had, always came up with the faint line after a while - giving me false hope!!!

Saw a similar question on another forum I go on yesterday - they recommended the website below.
This says NEVER go back to a test after the allotted time for the reasons in your question.
It also says the digital ones that display words are best, so try again with that, or go see your Dr
Good Luck

Go to the doctor - I had a similar experience to this and my gp told me that it was more likely that you'd get a false negative than a false positive (the test would say you weren't pregnant, if you were). She gave me a urine test and confirmed that I was pregnant.
You could go an buy a clearblue digital test which actually says pregnant or not pregnant on it, but they are pricey.

They are very likely not positive lines. I had the same experience when I was trying to get pregnant with my little girl. I got all excited and told everyone I was pregnant, only to find out that I wasn't. Don't listen to people who tell you that you can't see the evaporation lines - you can.
