Pregnancy & Parenting - 14 January 2007

I am having twins and I would like a stroller that the infant car seats just click on to, like I had for my other boys. I have found them with one car seat and one regular seat, but not two car seats. I would appreciate any help, thank you.

I had a Tubal Ligation just over a year ago and the past few months I have been experiencing irregualar periods and sore breast and nausea and tiredness all the time and my mood changes all the time. The only time that I have had sore breast is when I was pregnant. I took a home pregnancy the other day but it came up negative but I also had a bladder infection can that affect it at all? Can someone please answer this question its driving me crazy. I just want to know if I should get checked for pregnancy before going to the doctors on tuesday and having a pap test done. Also sometimes I get sudden pains in my abdomen that hurt to all high heaven so can someone please help me out here it would be greatly appreciated and oh yea thats all I do is make more frequent stops to the bathroom. So what do you all think can anyone out there help me I sure do hope so I am going crazy I don't really now what to do because I don't know what to do please help everyone so I can set my mind at ease.

No one seems to want to be called "pro abortion" or "pro tearing an unborn babies limbs and head off" or even "Pro murdering of babies"

why not?

and futhermore....if abortion is ok, then why do you people so desperately try to justify it?

what causes this and what can she do to relieve the pain. she says it happens mainly when she sits for a few minutes on the floor. she seems to be uncomfortable more that what she should be.

Does your boy take after his father in regards to penis size? I heard somewhere it correlates to the father's side, while I've also heard it can be from the mother's side. I'd say my husband is probably a little above average but my poor little boy has almost nothing

my daughter is 5 months old and has a really bad cold and chest infection, have dosed her up with calpol and put a few drops of infant olbas oil near her to help her breathe. Am really worried about her and cant get to doctors until tomorrow as shut, is there anything else i can do to help her or does anyone know of websites with info to help? thanks x

I have been having some odd symptoms. I was spotting, cramping, having headaches, and lower back pain. I went to a clinic since I was feeling so horrible and tired. They thought that I could possibly be pregnant. It is possible that I could be..but it has only been about a week. The clinic tested me and it came back negative but I had a urinary tract infection. I read somewhere that a woman had a UTI show up but a negative preg. test and found out a few weeks later that she was. They said that a urine test can show at day six if your pregnant but I've never heard of one showing that early. I was just wondering if it is really possible to detect pregnancy this early... I was pretty dissapointed when they said I wasn't so i'm hoping that there is still a chance.

The child is never left alone and has no special medical needs. His mother, who doesn't have custody, gave the phone to him. The child is allowed to speak with his mother whenever she calls him. His caretakers allow him to call his mother within reason. Why would she give him the phone in the first place?

I mean they keep on having kids over there is africa, all those places that they show on "Feed the children" knowing that they cannot feed one kid but keep on getting pregnant.
Don't you think with all of the donations they get they should be giving women birth control pills or getting their tubes?

I'm trying to think of new chores for my six year old to do (or if they are enough). Currently, she has to make her bed (which I think should just be done, and not a 'chore'), setting the table 2 times a week, help make dinner 1 time a week and helping to walk the dog/feed the dog 2 times a week. She also cleans the baseboards as needed. Anyone know any good chores to help with. She does earn allowance (or not if the chores are not done). I'm seeking imput/advice from other parents on what they do with their kiddos. Thanks!

I am 27wks pregnant. At my ultrasounds to date baby has always had legs crossed so we've never found out the sex of baby. I wanted to know - but now i've decided its a "sign" and i'm not suppose to find out until i give birth! lol.

My fiance is in two minds about whether or not he wants to know - he does then he doesn't... lol.

We are contemplating getting a 4D ultrasound done to determine the sex.

Do you think we should keep it as a surprise or find out now?

We have already purchased everything for baby so we don't "need" to know for decorative purposes.

My 18 month old son is a very picky eater who doesnt like to eat anything. He weighs close to 20 pounds, my wife and i are really concerned with his weight. Feeding him is such a stressful job, and i really pity my wife. On the bright side, he is a very active kid and development wise he is doing fine. My wife is unable to squeeze in 5 feeds a day and he eats very little or nothing at times. Right now he is on pediasure and we doesnt like whole milk a lot. I am sure there are lot of other parents who might be facing a similar situation. I am trying to reach out to such parents who are having a similar experience like us, please share anything that you found could help us improve our childs weight problem. Thanks in advance

I had sex about a month ago on December 10th. My period was due that thursday (14th). It did not come. On that friday(15th) i had nausea and sore breasts. The nausea lasted 2 days and the sore breasts for 5 days (they did grow and are still that size). I took a pregnancy test 2-3 days late and came up negative(17th). 9 days after intercourse i felt a pain in my lower left abdomen that lasted 6 or 7 hours and never felt again. After 5 days of having sore breasts and nausea, my symptoms went away completely and that next thursday (1 week late for my period/11 days after intercourse) i bled on the heavier side for 2 days and the period or implantation bleeding stopped after 5 maybe 6 days. It has now been over 4 weeks... i have no pregnancy symptoms, i am not tired.. only when i work and the only thing i have are headaches which i have always had even before now and my legs and feet get sore after workin for 2-3 hours. i know the best thing is to take a test.. i just want an opinion.

My period was due on the 12th, so I am two days late. I took a pregnancy test at the doctor on the 11th. It was negative. I also took one this morning with my first morning urine. It was negative. I did not have unprotected sex this month, but I had close genital contact a week and a half before I ovulated. Other than that, nothing. Those pregnancy tests should be pretty accurate by now, right? And the doctor's test? I guess I just would like some reassurance. Thanks.

I have been with my girlfriend for over 5 months now. She has a little boy of three from previous relationship. The littleboy has no contact with his real father. I notice a lot of things she does with him and how she handles him could be improved. He does play up an awful lot and is constantly throwing tantrums fo things and gets very angry and agressive, such as throwing his toys and hitting her when he has the hump. Whenever i suggest her trying a different approach etci gettold its none of my business and i have no right to say anything on how she brings him up. We watch supper nanny and lotsof programs like that but she never seems to pick up any good ideas from them, whereas i can clearly see how she can improve. His behaviour does impact on me to cause i can see her getting stressed out about it and i want to help her. Do i really not have a say in these matters? She wants me to be like a dad with him sometimes like taking him to his first day at school.

sex like everyother day hoping that something would happen then i was supposed to have my period the 8th but i started the 14th so that means im not pregnant right?..so could there be something wrong with me or him since we had sex when im supposed to be ovulating. or could i still be pregnant
