We will be going on a trip soon to california and i am scared of planes (been on helicopters though) would you rather fly or drive?
My husband wants to fly but i am too scared and my son thinks it would be great to get on an airplane!
What would you all do?

Ever since I got pregnant (28 weeks now) ..ive noticed when i go to blow my nose, everytime its bloody/blood clots. Why is that, or does anyone else have that problem too?

I QUIT breastfeeding about 3 weeks to a month ago. Yesterday I noticed my right breast was sore at about the 11 o'clock position and that it had some hardness there. Later that night I noticed that there was a fluid coming from my nipple. It is a clear but cloudy fluid. It does not look like breastmilk to me. Could this just be an infection or possibly something worse? Has anyone ever had the same thing post-breastfeeding???

she eats very well so that is not the reason why she wakes up.she is very active during the day and she doesn't have more than 3 hours of sleep during the day either. She can wake up any time between 2am and 4am and doesn't go back to sleep for at least an hour and half.it is not hunger that wakes her up because i offered her some milk and she doesn' want it. i took her in bed with me but that doesn't work either.she is not ill or anything. i also tried to let her find her own rutine but it didn't help.i really need some advice because i am sooooooooo tired and it affects my relationship with her. thank you for any advice that you can give me.

I am trying to figure out what makes people want to have children, because I just don't get it. I can think of many good, logical reasons, as well as emotional reasons for not creating and being responsible for a new human being, but no one seems to have logical reasons for doing it. Everyone talks about instinct and love and wanting more meaning in life.

How can it be selfish to not want to have children, if wanting to have them is not an altruistic act? No one I've talked to can give me any un-selfish reasons to make a small version of themselves.

Why do my b/f's friends call him whipped for brining me flowers and supporting me at my gymnastics meets?? I don't make him, he just does.
Is he whipped b/c he was a player until he fell for me, and does sweet things for me??
All his friends come to the meet to but he comes up during the score announcements and is there for me.
What is wrong with him being with his friends at the meet unless I get hurt or until the end?

Thanks to Jamie bloody Oliver and his bright ideas, my kids school have adopted a healthy eating policy. My kids come home telling me theyve been fed rabbit food such as lettuce and celery. I wouldnt mind but now they expect the same at home, ive tried explaining to them that ketchup is made of tomatoes and smily faces are made of mashed potato but will they eat it? will they hell! Just last night the ungratefull little buggers refused the fries in their happy meal and asked for 'carrot sticks' instead. I'm at my wits end, do you think they would eat their turkey twizzlers if i wrapped them in a lettuce leaf to disguise it?

Im interested to find out how you rate my chances?

me and my husband tryed for a baby in june and fell pregnant in the first month to my shock. it was a wonderful feeling then 1 week later at my first appointment i was told it was ectopic and the baby was removed using laproscopy my tube was saved and reapired and the docter said everything was fine tube overies etc..we werent aloud to try for 3 months and by this dat my husband is doing service for 4 more months.We will try again when hes home i just feeln oe though it wont happen for us imnot hat lucky.
How do you rate my chances and is there a good chance ill carry full term after an ectopic?

i feel so down and depressed as time goes on it gets worse and it doesent help that everyone around me seems to be falling pregnant i thought you might give me somewords of encouragment while my husbands away to keep my hopes up!

My 7 mo baby has just tonight started to turn himself over. Each time i have gone to check on him he has had his face buried in the mattress & his head has not been tilted to the side. I'm afraid of SIDS. I don't want to go to sleep & leave him in his cot tonight for fear of this. Any ideas/answers to my dilemma.
