Pregnancy & Parenting - 10 January 2007

my partner and i are trying for a baby but im having sum problems with my period it will go for bout a week and a half and then stops now 8 days later it has started again could this be anything this is the first time this has ever happened.
Could it be anything to worry about.Its not a normal period it more like spotting.

I just took my 20 month old daughter to school for the first time yesterday and I feel kinder of funny. I am excited that she goes to school and at the same time I am worried sick about how she is there. I know she gets along with other kids but I just get worried. Yesterday I called twice to check on her but I know I am becoming a pest. They have assured me she is ok but I can’t help wondering how she is. My wife says with time I will learn to accept it. How did you feel when you took your kids to school for the first time?

I am not confirm of my pregnant but wondering sure,i do the pregnancy test in 2 weeks or wait until 26 weeks...?My husband told me that i should had the pregnancy test later to be more confirm.Of course,he will be very happy,if i am pregnant of his first "inheirt" child.I just quite confuse...???

As a child i was bathed and in my pyjamas by 6pm ready to be put to bed at 7pm. This continued till I was age 12 when i was allowed to stay up another half hour till 7-30pm.

While I was victim to that (I have since got it legally changed) and parents insisted on strange pronunciations that no one would even guess by looking at it, I do have to say that I like names that are non-traditional without crossing the border into child abuse, as it does give a sense of individuality.

Would you give your child a nontraditional name or stick to the safe mainstream?

because ive been trying for a baby for years now and every time there is a possibility i might be pregnant it's always a neg when i do a test. and it's heart breaking every time. i was due on the 8th it is now the 11th and im still not having a period, i havent had cramps per say just and achy feeling. my breasts (niples) are sore and purple (sorry too much info). do you think i could be pregnant? and pluck up the courage to do a test.

Ok, I am currently on a 45 day cycle and my period is now a week and a half late. My last period was in November 2006. I felt a slight cramping in my left side when bending over yesterday and nipples are slightly sensitive. Do you think this is my period on it's way or do you think I'm pregnant?

I cut school and was three hours late for curfew. My dad and mom gave me a choice.
Grounded for a month which means no tv no friends nothing. I get up in the morning have breakfast go to school and then come home and right to my room come out for dinner then back to my room. I can sit in there and read but no radio no phone nothing.
Or I can get a paddling in the family room and 2 hours in the corner and grounded for the weekend to the house.
Which one should I choose? I have until Saturday morning to decide.

we are a family of 6 mum and dad and 4 kids. Our 8 yr old is youngest girl followed by her brother (if its relevant), is out of control. She frequently steals from me, once she took $300- out of my purse and convinced her dad to take her to the corner store as she had pocket money, he nearly died when she pulled out all this cash, so ok i can understand she didnt understand the value of money. WE worked hard to change that, but its things like everytime she is told off, she belts her little brother up he is 5, so i then have a crying upset little boy as well. She takes food from our pantry, and its stupid things like 2 minute noodles, and then i find them under her bed or in it, and we dont buy treats as she hunts them out and finds them no matter where we hide them. My husband bought me a box of chocolates for christmas, i went out, came back and they were gone, and its the constant denial and lying i cant take, she is a very angry agressive little girl, and its affecting everyone
